@@cadet15For sure, I had a similar reaction. Like seeing a ghost. Bruno Senna does that to all of us when he pops his visor open and it really is so spooky to see a very Ayrton-like face staring back.

@@kurtsudheim825 I watched the whole interview with him, and there is one moment where Freddie is describing what he did during a “demonstration race” and the way that he described how he reacted afterwards was just exactly like James. THAT was truly spooky.

He’s a spitting imagine of his father

So that's how James Hunt looked like if you lived in the 70s...

Just listened to the podcast.. Freddie is a natural.

It’s quite something actually when you also realise that Ocon reckons that the entire grid is within 2 tenths of each other on the sim. Now there’s a lot that goes into a statement like that, I don’t completely buy it and there’s obvious limits in a sim, but still something to think about.

​@@Nikelaos_Khristianosocon is a clown in that case😁 pardon my french. How could it differ more than 2tenths between teammates then? + f1 is about raw pace, handeling different setups of the car and challenging surfaces and tracks too. But, nack to matt. Impressive!

@@danielssonsgarage Because drivers have very different approaches to car set-up, something that you don’t get in a sim if all they’re concentrating on is lap-time. And even between teammates, the car will often be suited towards one or the other and there’s often a lot of politics behind this, just the nature of the sport really. Hence why debates about “Who is the GOAT?” are stupid because it’s far too relative. Obviously this is not the case for every grid. Nikita Mazepin was clearly an accident waiting to happen whenever he was on track. Overall, there’s more to being a racing driver than just being quick over a single lap.

@@Nikelaos_Khristianos in a sim the car is exactly the same. If a team setup a car for one driver its also the same? In reality the setup is individual so that is also a bit silly

It simulates a F1 championship, may not be as technical as true simulators on that sense but it simulates something
