Hetfield is one of the few singers that sounds better the older he gets. It's atonishing how good he's gotten since Kill E'm All.

I swear people need to grow up. This was totally frigging rocking and I was sitting here jamming right along. I don't understand why everyone says Metallica are Sell Outs when they do so much for their fans and love them all. It isn't the first time I have seen a band called sell outs just because they cut their hair and changed their style of music...if you were older, do you think you could rock out that hard for that long and still not pass out....geesh....

Mario Chámul There was something similar with Alexi Laiho, lol. I saw a video of him singing in another band (one of his friends' I think), but since he was only doing the vocals he clearly did not know what to do with his hands and even his body LOL. His hands went for an invisible guitar a couple of times in the video.

If you watch them both or Kai Hansen singing without their guitars, you can make a wish. I hope you made it.

Look at James movin aside in the beginning as not to take away from them their sheer awesomeness.

I'm at a complete loss for words! First of all, the very concept of performing this track was amazing itself. But James...he makes everything indecently better. His voice and the way he inflects it - this is unbelivable. I have never heard anybody who can build atmosphere as he can. I will be devoted to his talent until I die. James you're my hero!

I got to meet Metallica in 2009, just take a gander at my pic. I apologized to James for butchering his music on guitar, he said, "I'm sure you're not that bad..." to which I say, "You've never heard me play..." He says, "Let's go..."to the rehearsal room we go, I picked up his white ESP Explorer you see in Live Shit, started jamming Disposable Heroes, the rest of the band jumped in. It's hard to play guitar with a hard on. Pun intended. THAT, people, is heaven.

Ah, I love James' hand gestures. Now that's when you know you been a guitarist for too long. Very well done performance! Wasn't expecting the whole band to jump in at the end!

Anybody else notice James is actually using his voice more artisically then he typically does with the rest of the band...He actually sounds like he did when he used to..put...soul... into it.....i know this is metal but James is actually using his whole amazing voice.......they should do a whole tour together that would be fucking amazing

Pure fuckin' badassery!!! I think Apocalyptica gave Metallica that spark they were lookin' for in this performance. You can tell Hetfield was all fuckin' fired up! And you know Apocalyptica was fired up once Metallica chimed in. Good shit, man!

Antti Brax Oh please! Richard Wagner was an anti-semite! Metallica is potatoes so small, they don't even show on a scale. Besides, if you boycott every single artist who's not 100% politically correct, your life will be dull and miserable.
