In that sense HTSD was (for me) a step back, and I was a little disappointed. Not that I say that I don't enjoy the album, but I just don't think it's THAT good and I don't like how underrated Death Magnetic is

@@killswitch2408 The Production is everything for me. It’s rushed and compressed. Hardwired’s productions smooth and sounds great. The Tracks on Death Magnetic had some bangers like Judas Kiss and That Was just Your Life but I felt that track list On Hardwired holds up Better. That’s just my opinion though.

St Anger is a hideous album. Reload had a couple of decent songs but mostly not good. Garage inc is badass but all covers. S&M not fantastic. I'd have to choose Death magnetic with load coming in at a fairly close second. Just my opinion 👍relax🙏🤘

The change between 2018 and 2019 is unbelievable, like he suddenly aged 10 years. James kept a young look for many years, I remember seeing the XXX anniversary shows and he looked young and in shape, like he went back in time, he undoubtedly worked very hard and probably got some gear to get in shape for those shows. Overall he is quite well nowadays, considering almost 40 years of endless touring and heavy alcohol use.

I’m honestly not a fan of his mustache and hairstyle now. It makes him look older (which I know he isn’t young). The goatee makes him look younger. That’s just my opinion though.

@@Luke_22 in my opinion DM is better in every single sense, faster, more technical practically has AJFA vibes...only drawback was the production. In that sense HTSD was (for me) a step back, and I was a little disappointed. Not that I say that I don't enjoy the album, but I just don't think it's THAT good and I don't like how underrated Death Magnetic is

@@killswitch2408 The Production is everything for me. It’s rushed and compressed. Hardwired’s productions smooth and sounds great. The Tracks on Death Magnetic had some bangers like Judas Kiss and That Was just Your Life but I felt that track list On Hardwired holds up Better. That’s just my opinion though.

St Anger is a hideous album. Reload had a couple of decent songs but mostly not good. Garage inc is badass but all covers. S&M not fantastic. I'd have to choose Death magnetic with load coming in at a fairly close second. Just my opinion 👍relax🙏🤘

The mighty het went through many phases… And changes… And phanges.
The change between 2018 and 2019 is unbelievable, like he suddenly aged 10 years. James kept a young look for many years, I remember seeing the XXX anniversary shows and he looked young and in shape, like he went back in time, he undoubtedly worked very hard and probably got some gear to get in shape for those shows. Overall he is quite well nowadays, considering almost 40 years of endless touring and heavy alcohol use.
1988-1989 change is so sudden, looks like different people.

Yeah the morph effect was weird... it didnt stop long enough on any one photo to see what was going on, so it was more like "Having a bad acid trip while looking at James Hetfield aging" ..... I always thought James and Kirk aged quite well, but that last image he looked like my grandpa. LOL

Holy cow! Last 3 years look like happened at 2x speed.
He looks refined, and still rockin it out! One thing he is not a quitter and never stops. Saw Hardwired concert and they rocked the auditorium!!! He is only a year older than me, I sure couldn’t, or anyone else except President Trump could keep up with that kind of energy and stamina. I really hope they do at least one more🤟🏻

Ah, Mr. Mike Inez...dude still basically looks the same after all this time. You know that his SECOND band, after playing lounges and clubs in LA, was with Ozzy? Then he joined AIC. Not bad for around 2-3 bands. AIC was Sean Kinney's second, after playing for years with his dad in a big-band setting.
