Daryl Morey is the Worst GM in the NBA.
He's been called a liar by multiple Hall Of Famers (Chris Paul & Daryl Morey). He's forces his philsophy down coach's throats. He doesn't procure a winning culture.
James Harden has the right to speak about his experiences. But he's delusional about his clout in the NBA.

Morey has never understood the people stuff. Basketball isn’t baseball. It’s not take your 5 guys and hit FT’s one by one and see who has the most points at the end. Basketball requires an interconnectedness that you can’t represent in a spreadsheet. You nailed with this ain’t fantasy.

That all candy no substance limited James game and allowed him to get lazy and predictable and less effective especially in playoffs

As a sixers fan, im happy Daryl didnt pay Harden. I dont think darryl is as good a gm as people make him out to be either. I dont understand how for someone, so analytical and intelligent and not emotional, he seemed to be enamored with James. I think the sixers owners told darryl they aint giving him that money. As far as Nick Nurse is concerned, he is way better than Doc, or this version of Doc. So far this sixers team looks way better. Im not sure what makes Nick Nurse so bad to you outside of his like of analytics.

I’ve studied Nurse more since this episode was filmed. Read his book. Watched his clinics. He’s a well-prepared, players-first coach. I understand why he’s locked into analytics so our philosophies differ. But overall, he’s a good coach and players like him.
