Classic FM too, I had all my 9 doggies, 8 West Highland Terriers and Rolo our sheepdog when this came out, so many of our cats have gone to the light too, many tears, but would do it all over again. Our home is lacking without them all. Such indescribable longing in this beautiful music~ ღ 🌷🌼🌸❀✿ღ

Just heard this for the first time by pure chance when it came on the radio (classic FM) as I was changing CDs in the car. What a wonderful piece of music. I thought it was Annie Laurie at first, which is why it caught my ear to begin with as it plays a big part in one of my all time favourite films "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". You could almost sing that song to it though and I'm sure I will be listening to this for years to come.

28 years ago, when my wife and I were courting, she introduced me to Irish music at O'Friel's Irish Pub in Wilmington, Delaware. Phil Coulter's music means a lot to me, and for Christmas 2019 a lifelong friend of Karin's gave us Winter Crossing. As I type these words, I have my eye on her as she is sleeping. She is dying of metastatic breast cancer. She fell asleep listening to Steal Away, and who knows - may be the song will.

Dearest Don, Your comment brought tears to my eyes. You are such a beloved husband. I know your wife has such love and kindness from you. I don't know, as I type, whether she is still with you, or whether she has died. I hope and pray that she knows peace and love when she goes. May she take Jesus's hand as she ends her journey on this earth. I send very much love to you. Catherine xxx
