James English Does The Ayahuasca Experience

The Ayahuasca experience.
Follows James English on an emotional, physical and spiritual journey into the world of the plant based medicine Ayahuasca.
James spends a week in Rythmia life advancement, centre, Costa Rica, taking part in a 4 day ayahuasca ceremony, exploring the deepest corners of his mind.
The journey is an emotional and terrifying rollercoaster, filled with sadness and darkness, but also happiness and enlightenment, as James meets others from all over the world with very colourful pasts and each individual he speaks to are all searching for that one thing, A miracle.
Is healing through Ayahuasca a modern day myth, or is it the solution to gaining inner peace?

Not only did it heal much of the trauma that I have gone through for most of my life, it has affected my coordination, which is off due to child abuse. I'm 41, btw. Not only can i use my arms normally again, the shaman actually adjusted my spine, and now I don't need special pillows for my neck and back when I lay down or sit down. I feel also like I have a shield around me protecting me, because of more physical stability, thus more mental stability. The ayahuasca was the easy part, my allergies to whatever they washed the sheets in was the only rough part. I have been healed mentally and coordinationally by psychedelics and hypnosis before, but this ritual really helped me in a different way than before I did Behold retreats in Costa Rica, they don't do colon cleanses.... I did have a nice massage tho....

Thank you mate for sharing your experience. I just returned from Rythmia. Aya truly helped save my life. This was the hardest f’ing work I’d ever done. That week, i had both the hardest and most beautiful/peaceful days of my life. So many moments of insight - overwhelming at times. Since then, my mindset has subtle shifts with phenomenal impact; so much more ease in my daily life. Super clear that 50% of my healing happened when in Ceremony with Aya, and more importantly, 50% is taking place as I integrate the wisdom of this other-worldly intelligent medicine. Peace and ease to all 🙏

There's no doubt that plant medicines and natural therapies have a great deal to offer the world, and they have great potential to help people overcome trauma and addiction. People have to keep in mind too though that LOVE has that potential too, and too often it's missing from people's lives and the void that leaves is filled with the stuff that causes trauma and can lead to addictions. Good luck to you James on your journey my friend. As a Tibetan monk once told me, "Laugh as the wheel turns."

I'm what my father called a natural skeptic, I don't just believe anything without some sort of evidence. I am also what my brother called naturally curious, and Ayahuasca has had my attention on a back burner for a while. While the cost is off putting thanks to being skeptical, I think what makes me worry more is that it'll work. It'll show me who I really am, and I won't like what I see. I don't think I could handle that. So I'm in this limbo over finding a way to do it or not. I think my fear may win this particular battle. It helps to see someone I can relate to in some way go through the process. Thank you, James.

Hello James. Just wanted to say this was a beautiful film. I traveled to Rythmia last April and had the most amazing time. I ended up being able to tell my story to the world as well, as I was asked to be in the 'i got my miracle' interview, which was a dream of mine prior to going! You really captured the essence of this magical place and it's incredible, loving staff members. I cannot wait to go back - I am ITCHING for it now after this film lol. Thank you for this gift as I know it will touch many people and aid in their healing journey. Much love to you always, warrior.
