Quite reasonable since loak does come after Jake, honestly loak is a great person and he's badass

I want to see the Ash People as extremely vicious and hostile towards the humans with no remorse. I want to see the Ash People as this complete Threat with no way of getting through to them, that they truly see the humans as a cancer to their planet that needs to be destroyed in any which way possible.

It would be better if they juat attacked everyone. Not only humans. The Navi being nothing but peaceful trope will get old fast and its unrealistic. If the Navi are based on Indians then the ash people should be the Pandora aztecs. Hated and feared by everyone for their brutality

@@Reezy37 it’s either that or Jake tries to unite the clans and comes to the ash people and the Ash people will be incredibly hostile to Jake Sully and his children because of their “demon blood” and then try and sacrifice spider? Possibly utilising netiris hatred of humans too and then Jake will enlist the help of Quaritch to save spider from the Ash people bringing Quaritch a character ark into a grey area, we’re already seeing him slowly look a Navi culture differently and I think his eventual story line will bring him into an uneasy area of becoming more navi that human

Long ago, all of the clans lived together in harmony … then everything changed when the Ash people attacked.

I felt a romance forming between Spider and Kiri. James already said the Navi will go to earth in movie 4 and sympathize with some of the humans. I think Kiri and Spider will bring the humans and Navi together to defeat the final threat. Which will be the bad humans which we have already established and the bad parts of Pandora. Quaritch will bring out the bad parts of Pandora starting with the Fire people. Maybe even use Kiri to manipulate Pandora to turn on Jake.

I really don't want a romance forming between Kiri and Spider, that would just be weird since they were practically raised as siblings (even though Neytiri doesn't accept Spider, Jake did, and Kiri was the one to invite him to the family), plus I would love to see a girl and a boy just stay as friends without nothing romantic between them for once

so after hearing this it makes sense that the ash people will join up with the RDA after all the Omatikaya and the Metkayina are allied with one another.

Why do people hate on spider so much? He is arguably the most ill treated character in the movie for no apparent reason. And also the most pure hearted. He is an orphan kid with no one to care for him. He literally did nothing except save the only person that gave a shit about him. Cut the Spider hate.

I dont think that Spider is really a fan favourite for everyone because some people dont like him because the say he was the reason why neteyam died, and my theory is that neteyam will come back and still be neteyam in the film while the actor plays the role of neteyam until the last film

spider wasn't the reason neteyam died. if anything it was lo'ak who convinced neteyam to go save him or if we look even further back, the sullies didn't even try to save spider when he was kidnapped which lead to him being on the ship at the end lmao (i don't really blame anyone tho, i just think blaming spider for someone else's choice is dumb). and neteyam isn't coming back, why would he? as a character he was built for dying, we spent time more with lo'ak than him. story wise it doesn't make any sense. why make this emotional scene of him dying and then in one of the next movies bring him back.. and for what? it would be just bad writing

@@sadtimesalways Neteyam might not come back alive. But Kiri's connection to Ayewa she might connect with Neteyam who she knows a lot more than she knows Grace. Neteyam might be a link between Kiri and Ayewa, the messenger. I don't get how Spider is going to survive if he stays with the new Navi. He can't breathe Pandora's air without the mask and the mask would have limited oxygen. so unless he goes back with the other humans like Norm or gets an avatar of his own, Spider doesn't really have a use. Though I have a feeling Spider and Kiri are going to mimick Neyteri and Jake as human and Navi romance

@@BlastFromThePastTheGoodOldDays I don’t think that will happen, just because they can already communicate with the consciousness of the dead. Theres a video going into more detail. In the 1st movie this detail wasn’t told, but Tsu’Tey was originally betrothed to Neytiris sister. Her death obviously caused a great deal of pain to Tsu’Tey. He would regularly go to their ancestral tree to see and talk to her spirit/memories/consciousness and even explain to her that she was dead and he didn’t know what to do without her and how to deal with the sky peoples and move on with his life. But because Sylwanin is dead she is often confused and isn’t able to offer Tsu’Tey the advice or comfort he needs. She cannot understand these concepts as she was not alive when they happened. He can only communicate with those memories and the knowledge they had at that time. Netayem would be no different, this is why he seems confused and asks what’s wrong when Jake visits him after his death by the pond. Eywa has shown it doesn’t work like that. While Kiri is most definitely a badass, I don’t see how she would be able to do this. And if she eventually is able to do it then it shouldn’t be exclusively Netayem, it wouldn’t make sense. Supposedly they cut out alot of Netayems scenes but they might use alot of those scenes to be used as flashbacks to help convey the guilt lo’ak feels over his brothers death.

i don’t understand why the ash people would want to go against the na’vi

i heard somewhere that quaritch could strategically ally with the ash people (there's concept art that could support this) as they think in a more radical way and don't accept any mix with humans or avatars/recoms. like they are so territorial and brave warriors that would never change their mind to jake sully's view, which is actually about trying to make the na'vi think that good human-people do exist. i also heard that neytiri could join them in some point as a way of revenge, due to all her ones taken in both previous films. we know neytiri is such a feral and protective mom of her lands, so i really see that happening. can't wait for the 3rd one to be out!

Kiri had a seizure underwater that one time we saw that she connected to the ancestors tree and saw Grace. And then the scientists told Jake that if she connects again it could kill her. But given the fact that she still processes her supernatural powers maybe she will sacrifice herself and connect to revive Neteyam. Otherwise why would Cameron add this to the story ? Her seizure and the fact that she could die if she does it again. For me it shows that she will definitely connect again and something will happen that will cause eventually Kiri to contribute a huge change to the movies later on.

I don't know why they keep pushing recombinant Quaritch that Spider isn't his son. Quaritch's memories, and his DNA, are both in his recombinant. I think he sees Spider as a continuation of his line as a human, so the feeling that he is his father is definitely there as his last connection to what he once was.

Would be cool if the ash people were on the cusp of understanding metallurgy and it made them a very formidable. Especially if they began learning from humans.

They might have animals that actually live in lava and are thus immune to the RDA's weapons unlike the other Navi clans. That would really make them dangerous.

I noticed Jake was kinda of bumbling fool or sloppy compared to who he was in the first movie. Toruk Makto is struggling to keep stuff together while Natiri was an untouchable bad ass. They took away him speaking with Aywa to the Sigourney Weaver Jesus baby also which is a girl and Aywa just leaves Jake like that? He wasn’t a scientist he was a marine that got a second chance at legs and what set him apart so I don’t get why he didn’t know how many clips he had as trained people count their shots. Edit: I think Natiri would have totally killed spider. She just lost a kid and was fighting of pure rage. If he didn’t drop Kiri she would have 100% stabbed him

If the ash people are as ruthless as James says they are I wanna see how they take to spider becoming apart of jake Sullys family

The ash people being associated with fire is interesting in that human beings discovering far marked the first time that our species had an impact on the environment. Some theories suggest that the only reason grassland environments even exist is because humans burned so much forest to clear the land, which may suggest that the ash people are interested in emulating the technological dominance of the human antagonists in the same way that the human protagonists are interested in emulating the Navi and their integration with nature.

Quaritch will still be the main antagonist of Avatars 3, 4, 5, and 6.

They’re definitely still an allegory for colonizers, who were famously rich white men. (An argument could definitely also be made to include the Japanese as well, but that was generally isolated to other Asian countries) Even looking at the RDA itself, it’s command structure was predominantly rich, white, and male. (General Ardmore is the first authority figure to be shown in the RDA who wasn’t a rich white man, she’s a white woman instead) It’s also important to consider the type of future Cameron is trying to portray: a humanity that never learns. It would be perfectly logical to assume that the vast majority of RDA’s mentioned “shareholders” are also rich white men. The point is to paint humanity as an uncomfortable, repulsive force that is relevant to a modern audience. In summary: her use of “rich white men” was apt

It wouldn’t serve the story at all because his character has already served it’s purpose in the narrative. (I’m not sure what this has to do with calling the RDA space colonizers, but definitely a welcome surprise lol, theory crafting is always fun)

Makes sense, Pandora's a big place. Cameron doesn't miss.

I can tell by the narration, that identity politics, acceptance of diversity and “equality” is pushed.. not that it ain’t necessary but with all those things and the people who demand it, nothing is ever good enough..

I love this idea it fixes the films biggest pothole. Why Warriors are such an important part of the Nabi culture, despite being so peaceful before humans showed up.

My guess is that Quaritch is going to ally with the Ash People, and they'll wind up stabbing him in the back in some form or another. Possibly involving Spider. But that's just a guess.

@@corinnedrake3628 i hear u. what i mean is, that if kiri was not let go, i believe neytiri was about to legit end spider. she had the green glowing avatar eyes (which i still dont know why james chooses for that lighting to occur).. but she was down to kill him. but quarich let kiri go, and that was the deal. then neytiri holds on to spider releasing him away from quarich. so epic. she was down to kill someone she still considers with them. anyways. that scene brings me to tears ea time.

These Ash people would probably be more smarter than every other Navi on Pandora and would gladly side with Humanity regardless for the good or bad

For me I would have thought all the na’vi are at peace with each other because of eywa and everything liek she’s the mother of all of them and the way they are all connected to one another through her so I would never have thought a na’vi clan would fight another

@@michaelbruvolt4221 Neytiri isn't evil lol She was pissed and grieving Neteyam's death. Is her action reasonable? No, not really. But she was incredibly enraged and wanted to inflict the same pain to Quaritch that he caused her. Besides, Quaritch was playing dirty by literally cutting Kiri's neck (you can see where he dug the knife in too hard and cut her skin) to get Jake to hand himself over. If Quaritch is holding an innocent child hostage to get to the parent, the only way to get back at him is to do the same with his own.

@Hot Soup justifying a reprehensible act, I see. Netyiri knew the recumbent Quaritch wasn't directly the father of Spider. That "parent" relationship wasn't same as what she had with her son. If anything, given what we know of Quaritch, his sparing the girl for his "son" was somewhat out of character for him. Spider was a good person whose potential murder you're excusing to give cover to his potential murderer just because she lost a child earlier. I'm not saying her actions are not understandable, they are. But just because something is understandable doesn't make it then not evil. Those two concepts are not mutually exclusive.

Im 85% sure jakes gonna die in the next movie, and that would in some way would make Neytiri be more accepting towards humans

Going to go into one the critical angles that many indigenous peoples have with a lot of European film's portraying native cultures, and it comes down to addressing our own internal layered stereotypes ,, "Noble" savage syndrome is one of the names for this issue ,, If we are going to dig into why James Cameron would explore the flip side of the coin with story examples of "Na'vi that might want to fight and kill other Na'vi , We need to take an internal look at the source truth of the example roots within our own very real world living history, for example, Who was the peacemaker whos name starts with a "D", but whos name out of respect is usualy not spoken outloud ? Who was the Jigonsaseh ? and who was Aionwatha (we know him as Hiawatha)

I think we have watched different version of avatar 2. In my World no one was happy about quarich was saved or the Monkey boy to be even in the movie. Lol. All backwards

I think General Hardmore will be the new villain ,she has ambitions to obtain Pandora s natural resources. , she has never resigned herself to the defeats that the Na Vi imposed on the RDA .

Spider is irritating. And he kinda muddy's up the water....
