Please notice the kiss at 2:09 so cool and nice...and how he point "for love" at 2:18. I don´t know anybody who can put so much emotion and expression in just one word. Thank YOU Mr. James Brown for all the love, energy, funk, soul, talent, power and all the other things you brought to this world. May your legendary soul, rest in peace.

Just another example of his genius . Sunny is a pop , laid back soul song and he did it perfectly not trying to make a funk song out of it , but to blow it out as an uptempo soul show song cause he had the band that could do it , the momos new to the game don't comprehend . He had the best musicians in the world , horns , com on lets not get silly . Fred Wesley , Maceo ... bootsy could do anything and his brother .

The Always Great Mr Brown. I've been listening to this song for years, but every time I hear it, I feel like I'm hearing it for the first time. it makes my inner self tremble, just like the budding passion of a first love. You know the true love, ... the pure one.

I love watching this performance of James singing Sunny and the other one from a different show on here. James Brown and his band had the most dramatic music I ever heard. You can here it in Jazz music or Miles Davis music how his music has that dramatic feel on a lot of tunes but James with that voice..I always say he's the greatest male singer that ever touched the mic disagree if you will. Maybe I'm listening just a little more closer and hearing something called Soul just pouring out! Love!

***** Your right! Some songs I've heard it sounds 100% perfect and other songs the music is great, but maybe its the lyrics where he may not sing as good as he can. Especially after the album Payback I can hear a difference in his range it started to fade a bit not as strong as he sounded from late 60s to early 70s. I notice the same fading in the tone of the voice in Whitney Houston later in her career too. Maybe its the cigarettes probably.

I love how James really perfected his dance moves during this performance. You can really see how smooth his foot work is and how smooth his boogaloo is compared to his late 60s foot work and boogaloo. Also around this time you can see the impact locking was making on his dance style as well.

@@smoothlockbruh3410 You can tell that Donald Boyce from Kool & The Gang took influence from James' dancing. From the Jungle Boogie Soul Train performance and Spirit Of The Boogie. The dance patterns and moves are extremely similar to James Brown. Wonder if Don studied him.

You don't understand the basics of music or style ... " Sunny " is a mostly a mellow pop song and w/ Brown's powerful band and powerful voice , he had 2 choices either up tempo to include his powerful horn section or slow , limited horns & rhythm and he choose the correct path , the genius path other wise it would have been boring .
