something only a small people know, James Brown has always his Band in charge. You can see how the keep on eye on him, because he dont use set list, he give signs which song they should play. And when he heard one single wrong note, he change the song quickly to another.

Yep, Prince was like that too and in fact you'll find a lot of the best musicians were like that especially in this genre, it means they can keep it fresh for the audience.
