I've always watched your honest and intelligent reactions to music, Aurora our little fairy queen bringing me to your channel in the first place. But I have never felt the need to comment, until today. In 2013 our daughter Poppy Grace was stillborn at term, it is a loss like no other. This song is a beautifu testament to a Bereaved Parent, written so beautifully only by someone who 'gets it', having walked in simialr shoes to ours. Its gentle, unassuming and so devastatingly beautiful, thank you for reacting to it so sensitively and with such care x

The part that always breaks me is at the end of the second chorus, where the projection of the little girl's hand strokes across James' neck and shoulder, like she's trying to comfort him from... wherever she is now. I don't know if that was an intentional artistic choice or just serendipity, but it's heart-wrenching nonetheless.

This song breaks me. Every time. It's brutal. Again, James shining through his lived pain.

Dieser song rührt mich immer wieder zu Tränen. Ich bin fast 60 Jahre alt, habe schon viel gesehen und erlebt, aber James schafft es immer wieder mir zusagen , Kopf hoch - es gibt Schlimmeres. Ein absolut zu Herzen gehender Song, den du supertoll kommentiert hast

This one is a hard hitting song from James...his writing skills are amazing to say the least. He has a habit of broaching subjects that tear into your soul.. Believe they had a miscarriage and James wrote this song...I believe since then they have had 2 boys now so life does have a way of bringing joy back. Thanks Saeed.

Losing a child, no matter what stage of life that child was in, including miscarriage and stillbirth, is the hardest thing a parent will ever have to endure. Having the chance to have more children is a blessing, but each child carries their own joy, and was never a replacement for the one that was lost. Each one has their own memories, and the memories of the child that was lost will still be there because the love for each child will always remain with you. Thank you, Saeed, for this touching reaction to a very touching song by James❤

Beautiful song. We lost our little grandson 10 years ago at 2 months old. It speaks to me and comforts me as do your words. As you said amazing and haunting ❤❤❤ Chris

Just let it happen man, let the tears roll. He is amazing, my wife and I were told we would never be able to have kids and then we ended up getting pregnant, but it was shortly lived. It didnt effect us in a big way because it was early on. Now we have three beautiful children and i know that the first one that never came, is because they had a job to do for god and bring us the perfect children to help us realize what life and love is all about. I thank them for that till this day.

Not that many, his most popular songs. Goodbye my lover, You're Beautiful, 1973. Those are the ones i know the titles of and sure that i am very familiar with. Thanks again for introducing me to these.
