a minute in and im already SO excited for this album. Yachty has developed so much since he first came onto the scene, and him working with james was kind of unexpected but I reckon it'll sound so good considering his love for frank ocean Blonde and Endless
I'm coming from the perspective of being a James fan since before the Colour in Anything and only falling in love with Yachty since Let's Start Here but absolutely loving everything since and before. I've basically heard, from an intimate fan level, all of their dips into other genres. So hearing about this collab was a pleasant surprise that just makes sense. I'm truly looking forward to hating whatever they drop for the first month then proceeding to play it from start to finish the rest of the year and beyond.

This is an incredible interview that not only looks at two individual artists and how they evolved towards this crossroad of sorts, but also James Blake's view on the music industry - which is incredibly poignant as this is an Apple Music interview and the two are in odds.
