Johan Friedel cuz they are underpaid, overworked, deal with the scum of the earth on a daily basis, and now, get to go to prison for all these reasons. You may have some mental health issued too if you in the fucked up situation most US cops are. Maybe we would have more level headed well behaved cops if quality of life wasn’t utter shit.

@@jeremiahparker9332 there is a differrence between and explanation and an excuse. Being a cop is not easy on any level. Mental instability and ptsd are serious. Notice how the original comment mentioned they self report at 40%, that shows that they are aware of their problem. So yeah...everyone could use a little more level headedness

Well, this is from 2017. On British TV (I don’t think the UK police has as big of a problem as the US police, but I could be wrong seeing that I’m neither). Had it been done NOW, I would join you in your discomfort.

Piss off. A cop saved my life once, not all of them are evil. There are evil bastards in every line of duty, from nurses to dentists to cops to firemen. Just because there are a few rotten apples (Who will get their punishment anyway!) doesn't mean we should demonize all of them.

I gotta agree with the authorities If you humanize cops it gets a little harder to hate their guts and call them inhuman bastards.

Not a good time to appear pro-police, perhaps, but look at it this way. Putting the police in dodgem cars keeps them off the streets at least. Which really should be the goal here
