I’m so happy for Jamal man, such an amazing story and bounce back from his injury. One of the many lessons you learn as an athlete that you can apply to life; no matter how bad you’re down, no matter how long you’re down for, you can always bounce back like better than ever if you focus and work hard but smart. Our setbacks in life are painful, demoralizing, and debilitating, but having support from others and yourself in order to retain sight of the goal, to accomplish your mission, you will not be down forever. You always have a chance to restart; failure is not permanent, failure is not a negative. Our setbacks, insecurities, shortcomings, anything of which that is out of our control, it’s not a failure. Jamal is a true hooper. Thank you for an amazing season and congratulations on your first NBA title!

Went from MVP to bench warmer with 1 injury

Murray's game is pure flair & excitement! Such dynamic fluidity; its a pleasure to watch! What pleasantly surprised me in this title run are: a. His great defensive effort & defensive IQ b. How his game sense has matured & his decision making has grown more disciplined He is able to catch himself & adjust if he gets carried away with flashy & forceful plays. We saw this in G5 & G6 against the Suns, when Murray made key adjustments after playing too aggressively & forcefully in games 3 & 4. As coach Malone said: "I applaud Jamal for not getting bored of choosing the right plays".

It's not inconsistency he was coming off an acl injury so he couldn't go 100% every night. By the time the playoffs came, he was ready. The regular season after the bubble before his injury he was cooking
