Humble and blessed athlete.
Good Girl Shelly Ann, for staying focus and not getting pregnant at a early age. very good example for girls especially in that environment.
A beautiful smile with so much talent......
wow Shelly has really come far way and should be an inspiration to all young people that your dreams do come through if you believe and work hard.
It doesn’t surprise me of my Jamaican brothers and sisters on the extreme pressure brings out quality that doesn’t mean that we must stay under extreme pressure but we fight our way out of it out of all the islands Jamaican is the beacon for the black world singing righteousness in the reggae songs and strong willed Jamaican warrior spirit and all godly spirit forever hallelujah

IMAGINE IF SHE WAS 5 INCHES TALLER.. SHE MIGHT EVEN BREAK THE WORLD RECORD

rara rora imagine if you knew what you were talking about, you wouldn’t have thought this or expressed it. What’s the difference in saying: if everyone in the race was her height they would have all tied for 1st?

@@Hengel_Andrews the taller legs you have the more ground you cover when running against someone who's shorter
@Hengel_Andrews
5 жыл бұрын
Jill's Sandwiches yes, but it means nothing without the stride rate to make those “longer legs” be a factor. For your consideration Asafa Powell is taller (longer legs) than Tyson Gay, but Tyson Gay has a longer stride length and higher stride rate 9.73 vs 9.69...
Why do they insist on starting with the 'poor' image of Jamaica? Why?

I think its just to show that she comes from humble beginning which does not define who she is and has become and yet she is still grounded and don't forgot where she came from.

The coach let her lift too much weight, now the extra muscles in her arms and legs has slowed her down, and it is the same thing with Veronica Campbell Brown. Their muscle are too big for their structures.

She lost in Rio partly because she had a toe injury, and partly because Elaine Thompson by then had become better than her. I really doubt it has anything to do with how much weights she lifted.
