There are many light skinned Jamaicans, mostly Chinese, Indians, Syrians and Whites. For example my mother is a Jamaican of Korean decent. Bob Marley himself had a white father and a black mother. The people of Seaford Town in Jamaica are all light skinned descendants of Germans. There are also other towns where the people are light skinned descendants of the Irish. In my high school we had a few White and Asian Jamaicans. None of this should come as a surprise however - the national motto of Jamaica is "Out of Many, One People".

@@mikemyers2140 China doesn't own Jamaica. No one told you that. Chinese people have a lot of businesses in Jamaica but they don't "own" it. Jamaica is still owned by the queen and even that will end soon.
