I honestly respect Jake and Tara so much for being so open about their break up I'm really happy they can still continue a friendship with no worries I love how mature they went about everything.

@@Befouryonceehonestly if you’re in a relationship with someone who’s still friends with their ex and you feel uncomfortable about it then that relationship isn’t for you🤷🏼‍♀️ you have to have trust, communication, respect, and boundaries in a relationship. if you’re not comfortable with someone’s friendship with someone else then it’s probably best to just leave.

Ofc be their own person but also not be “cuffed” to each other ig. They prob didn’t have those romantic feelings for each other and just platonic love.

Because they’re in their 20s! You will be a completely different person like 7 times until some point in your 30s. You can’t figure out who you are if you’re consistently existing as part of someone else. Spending your formative years in a relationship limits you.

I think its very mature to be able to set yourselves a part as a couple and still be really great friends. Because Jake makes a great point. Its really weird when people split after supposedly having such a huge connection. Is jealously really that strong that you'll let it ruin years of time with that person? I guess fucking so. I am happy that Jake and Tara worked it out in a cool and rare way.
