It's been sanctioned as an actual fight, slight adjustments with the gloves and rounds, but it's a full-on fight. Expect Tyson to come out looking for blood.

I wish this fight would not get sanctioned.

Stamina is my worry if Tyson doesn't get one of his old school first round KO's because he got tired in his last two official fights

You are dead right and it’s strange nobody is remembering those last fights but are just going back to Tysons highlight reel from his early twenties. Tysons cardio will not last more than 30 seconds with that peekaboo style and he relies heavily on that style to slip punches. When his head stops moving Jake will be ready with that overhand right

Most of the videos posted of Tyson are short bursts. Albeit he will have more endurance later on in training camp. Each round will be only 2 minutes. Tyson is not 60 he will be 58 if the fight goes down.

I thought Paul only fought no knockout fight contracts, so how is he going to get the Pow Pow "you ain't no fighter" from Tyson.

My biggest fear is, when this was officially a fight going in the record book, that Jake talked Mike into just going easy for the full length and switching up on him if he gets the opportunity after he makes Mike run around for 5 or 6 rounds and gets tired. Jake would pull the “you know I’m a troll and everything is fair in the fight game” bullshit card and his fans would eat it up.

I tend to agree. I do not believe the other Paul fights were fixed, but this one has to be different. The Paul Bros are a massive industry. No way their lawyers and business partners are going to allow an unbridled slug fest. It makes no sense. It will be classified as an exhibition so no sanctioning bodies have to be involved. That leaves all kind of room for shenanigans.

Legacy is derived from ego. Mike said goodbye to his ego a long time ago. Nobody is gonna see anything resembling a real fight. However that being said, seeings how Jake just said something about Mikes deceased child may well change the outcome .

I think nobody really see the side that Jake is so young that he didn't grow up watching and all the conversations around a Mike Tyson fight. He just sees an old boxer that was good. But everyone else has seen the media and him going nuts and going to jail and that fear around him. Kinda the same thing like everyone Jakes age doesn't see the Michael Jordan is the best.

Jake is gonna hold him as much as possible to avoid getting rocked or dropped. His youth and measly 5 years of boxing isn’t enough to deal with Tyson. Hug fest!!

Even pulling his punches Tyson CLEARLY beat Roy Jones. It was only called a draw because it's an exhibition and to save Roy's reputation.

Don't be surprised if Tyson sticks to throwing big body shots rather than head hunting Jake. Drops Jake a couple times and the ref steps in and calls it.

You're only thinking of age. All of Jake's victories have been against smaller, older opponents with less boxing experience than him. He's an amateur who lost the first time he's actually fought a boxer. Putting him against a PED enhanced Hall of Fame world champion? Jake went the distance with washed up old Nate Diaz who has never 40 boxing match. He is seriously outmatched against a prepared and testosterone enhanced Mike Tyson.

Bad defense in my opinion. Tyson can do what he wants but I don’t know what his intentions are

The MIke Tyson thing is just like Tony Ferguson... looks great in practice... has tons of drive and fan support... but there's no denying what the objective truth is... Mike's last real fight was against some guy named Mcbride in 2005... 2005? yes 2005... and you know how he did? He lost... he lost his last real competitive fight to someone that isn't anyone special 19 years ago... now all of a sudden because of his name and his training videos everyone thinks that he's still formidable in a real boxing match against a half way decent 26 year old that has made a name for himself by cherry picking people that on the surface look like a threat, but really aren't... Mike Tyson fits perfectly into Jake Paul's model... the Jake Paul of today could have beaten Tyson 19 years ago... the 19 years that have past are 19 years of middle age... I've never seen a boxing match where such specific facts point in one direction, yet even experts start looking at another direction... I would love it if Tyson won... but when I handicap the fight, I just really see no chance for him...

No one thinks Mike is what he was in his 30s. We think a 50 something in shape TRT Mike Tyson width 4 months of hard training beats an amateur who has lost his only fight against an actual boxer. An amateur whose victories have only come against smaller older opponents with almost no boxing experience. An amateur who went the distance with an over-the-hill welterweight from MMA just a few months ago (Nate Diaz). I think it's easy work for Tyson if he's at all serious, and his training footage looks like he is.

I think everyone is looking at this all wrong and kinda being haters. It’s fun. I worry about something bad happening to Tyson because of his age but I also worry that he might kill jake Paul but they are grown men and they can make their own decisions and Tyson still has the fire I think we should appreciate Jake taking the risk of a “lose lose situation” and giving Tyson an opportunity to do what he loves again. Who are we to say someone is too old? And who are we to say jake Paul isn’t a boxer. He has put the work in. He’s beat guys he had no business fighting and beat them in a pretty impressive way. I don't care how old Tyson is man, those skills and power never leave, and is like muscle memory. Now, Tysons style of boxing alone presents problems for Jake. Personally I'm just interested to see if he can keep Tyson away from him, because Jake's kryptonite has aways been that overhand, and he's a sucker for the left hook, these are what Tyson is known for, ripping you to the body and finishing you off upstairs, he's the master bro, so don't sleep on the legend!

I stand by my statement, Paul’s only saving grace is Tyson’s wisdom with age and his mellowness now. Mike Tyson has made it clear throughout his career that he doesn’t like being disrespected, and I think poking a hibernating bear is a bit disrespectful. 😂 But we’ll see, I can’t wait to see what happens.

You guys just don’t have the analytical power to see the angle and why this is a win for Jake. For one Tyson just won’t have the cardio to use that peekaboo style for more than 30 seconds then he will completely slow down and Jake will pick him off with a right hand.
