I have been a bread baker for over 40 years and can truly say Nicolle is an amazing bread maker. Brick oven baking is an art onto itself and Nicolle has mastered beautifully baked breads in that oven. I don't get impressed easily but you know bread and it shows.

Consider taking the seawater from an area of the boat not directly next to the running motor. Not for physical safety, but for the quality of the water near the running motor. Two stroke motors can emit 25-30% of their unburned gas and oil mixture into the water. In contrast, four-stroke motors emit 97% less air and water pollution than old two-stroke motors.

Bread made over a campfire by wrapping strips of dough around a stick and planting the stick close to a good bed of coals to bake in the open air is called ‘bannock’. We also made sourdough bread in a cast-iron Dutch oven in a bed of coals by piling the coals around the sides and over the top. Maintaining the sourdough starter between uses can be touchy without refrigeration to keep it from getting too sour - you have to keep feeding it with flour substrate to control sourness, then dividing and sharing it with others when it gets out of hand. No fermenting of veggies for food storage? No food cellar under the new house?

Maybe paint it green to make it fit as well as possible!I like the yurt better, but it is difficult to maintain it in the long term! I followed several similar channels on KZread and noticed that in the beginning I like it, but in the end they want to live in the same "luxury" as in the cities! They just don't like the too much people!

Greeting!I watch this channel from Hungary and I like the yurt and how they lived there!Congratulations on the sourdough bread, they look very nice and probably very tasty. We also bake something similar in my home.I think the GuanYin statue is well placed and faces the front door, that is, the yurt.I'll be curious when and how the house will be finished, although if you go sailing, i don't know when it will be finished! In any case, I hope that it will not be a House equipped with all the luxury, with a smart TV, dishwasher, Netflix, etc. ! good luck, and now I'm going to watch the other episodes !

Just a thought, that maybe water collection in the 5 gallon container, should come from the front of the boat, or anyplace away from the engine...........

Don’t usually comment as this is my martial arts account. We do fujian martial arts. Absolutely love how you are teaching your child mandarin whenever you get the chance to.

Hello Jake and Nicole, I’m very found of your videos, and it’s so good to learn things while I watch them. So, I am curious about something, and this is for Nicole, how do you measure the amount of your homemade wild yeast with the amount of dough, to make the sourdough bread? I have done the homemade wild yeast in the past, but wasn’t sure how to use it with the dough.

Have you ever heard of SuperTherm, a special high tech coating to cover your metal house? Not cheap, unless you plan on growing trees above your new house for shade. I hear metal is an excellent conductor of heat. Those hot summer days might be like living in an oven.

Thanks for sharing beautiful views and delicious bread enjoy....interesting....there is also an avocado on the other table they are rooting an avocado in the summer to plant it in the second place")? A house in a snowy place should preferably not have a triangular roof so that ice does not fall on the head preferably angled to one side if it is possible .. to heat a house made of iron it is advisable to attach the chimney of the stove to the side of a container which will heat the container

That still image moment at 35:08 should be retaken every year as Fox and the tree grow. With Jake just sitting and watching them. That would be a small cool album on it's own.

Jake, you are an AMAZING narrator, love that you narrate throughout ya'lls very professional videos while yet keeping it fun. You and Nicole make such a great team,! I like how you will prompt Nicole (not missing to explain to viewers) and she just kows to explain what she's doing. You touch on the tiniest details (LOL, I wondered about the ash). So many times in utube videos you are left wondering. Definately a notch above. Both you and nNcole have a calming peace about you, so very enjoyable😊
