I noticed that too. His look and eyes,along with his accent, were slightly different. Very out of character for Marc, even in his deranged state. Also, he was oddly violent, more violent than Marc would have been.

notice the confusion, he doesn't know where he is, or why dr. harrow is calling him marc. jake is also known to be the most aggressive identity, so these actions make sense. and of course, the accent and slang isn't like marc or steven too. going into the deeper parts of the episode (spoilers!) we know marc is the reality, he created steven to have the idea of a mom who loves him, and it's possible that he created jake to be able to take the blows from his abusive mother. d.i.d. stems from traumatic experiences, so i think it would make sense.

Also a very important thing to note , it was Jake who was given the Anaesthetic Injection and not Steven or Marc . That's why Marc couldn't remember if he was given a injection or not. Also he couldn't find the injection marks or the pain from the needle. 🙂

In the episode, there were 3 meetings with Dr Harrow. In the first meeting he is violent, has a different accent and also has a broken nose( i believe this one to be Jake), while the second meeting he is much calmer and doesn't have the injury or the accent mentioned above (Marc) and in the 3rd meeting its shown to be steven.

I think “Jake” had already taken control a few times in earlier episodes, ex; the roof scene. After he apparently brutally kills a bunch of bad dudes, he alters back, and Marc seeing the gruesome aftermath says, “Steven, what did you do?”, and Steven replies, “It wasn’t me…”.

“Marc wouldn’t hurt himself” I find this ironic considering he was about to commit suicide at some point in his life

It’s widened made to loon aggressive?? That’s what I saw. Like someone that has so much darkness. Jake looks like he’s uncomfortable with his emotions. I believe this identity will be the reason moon knight will exist as a proper anti hero. Jake doesn’t have a problem with k i lling nor does he seem to have a different perspective when it comes to the whole thing with the bird. Jake seems like the kind of person to usf unleash havoc as a way of releasing all that anger, pain, aggression, hurt and thin line between revenge and justice.

I’m so fascinated by the changes in his acting for each one of them. That’s a big part on why I loved the series so much. Also, yesterday’s post credit scene was so brilliant I can’t get over it. I’m so excited to see more of them when the second season comes out 🙏✨

I actually kind of agree. I think Jake came out fully when Harrow asked about ‘that little boy.’ Jake coming out was a protective response to a triggering question. But I do think the two could have been blending somewhat at the start. Sometimes with DID, two identities can front at the same time.

it's shown that their memories blend now tho, for exemple Jake knows about Harrow and Konshu and Tawaret even when these things happen while he's not fronting. The limits between the personalities are porous since their mother's death, it makes sense that Marc would have some blurry memory of being injected when it happened to Jake.

I think Marc can see what the other alters see in Duat. When Steven was off exploring Marc's childhood memory without him, he can listen to every dialogue that Steven is experiencing eventhough was not even with him at the time. Same goes for Jake here, I think the reason for Marc to scream with Steven when they saw Taweret was because Marc's actually feeling what Jake was feeling when he was being drugged which was why he kind of overeacted to Taweret.

The thing about this is, on rewatch, Jake is actually alluded to in Episode 1, where Steven finds out he has a date with his coworker. Remember, Mark is married to and in love with Layla, so he wouldn’t cheat on her, and Steven had no memory of asking her out, meaning it was probably Jake who did so.

The only thing that make me think that it's not Marc but it's Jake is his eyes. There's no way Marc and Steven would open his eye wide open. Plus the dead fish eye is very uncomfortable which what brings me thinking it's Jake n not SV and MC.

I think it makes more sense that the 3 visits to the doctor are for each of them. And the last talking justice and being a super hero is Jake and Steven, as Mark just wanted peace, with the others wanting to protect.

What I've noticed I believe since Mark was still panicking a bit confused on why the fuck he's in a mental hospital which is causing him to switch from him and Jake because he feels unsafe and unsure what to do even though sometimes you can't really tell when Marc transitions because he hides it better now I believe he transitioned while he was looking around the room to Jake causing him to look extremely confused more than usual when he held his nose that's when he transitioned into Jake again "you're not really a Docta.... you're not a Docta..." *back to Marc until Dr Harrow said something about the little boy AKA his brother* *when he was moving in closer that was Marc* *and Marc isn't really violent like that unless he has to so when he grabbed the pyramid and got up that's when Dr harrow realized he transitioned back to Jake again* and the personalities has a face Steven looks smart, quiet, confused. *a lot submissive but we don't talk about that-* Marc has Messy curly hair, Mentally exhausted, Unfazed. *a bit submissive-* Jake looks scary, Feisty, Unstable. I'm gonna keep making myself look like a fool by feeling convinced these clips amounts to Jake appearing indirectly. If you guys remembered in the 1st episode, when Harrow's men tried to snatch the Scarab from Steven's hand... He got into an episode and woke back up with his hand bloodied, the Scarab's wing piece opened. To me, Jake can turn anything into a deadly weapon ala John Wick's pencil iconic story. This scene, happened again where he grabbed the sharp and pointy crystal pyramid first thing from the table. He is ready to either jab it right to Dr. Harrow's face or getting ready to flee... ARMED (but didn't make it when the Orderlies arrived a bit earlier, restraining him from behind). I think there's a couple of pages in the comics where there's 'Marc' strapped on a gurney, getting an electric shock treatment by the people of the hospital. Afterwards, he saw the Doctor and his assistants as a bipedal egyptian jackal. I wonder if episode 6 serves the same level of angst and emotional moments like in episode 5, but JAKE focused. I've came across lots of theories and such saying that MCU Jake is 'created' by Steven to put himself in a very aggressive, intimidating and dominating spot since we all know Steven is too kind and a pacifist person. He wouldn't get into a fight if he could avoid it and whatnot. He probably faced bullying problems while being in front and Marc didn't intervene at times. Perhaps Steven DO feels like he is weak and not bold, adding in over his mother's abusive nature which makes it more complex. Slowly shaping Jake whom Marc and Steven 'turns to' to take the abuses, the torments and so on. Their punching bag that won't hold back if protection comes first to the two.

Completely agree with you! I think they've claimed that they didn't intentionally put jake in that scene. But I knew as soon as I saw his face and even more when he started talking, that it definitely was not Marc or Steven. So all that leaves is Jake and with the violent tendencies, that adds up. Such amazing acting for real.

This series just shows how talented Oscar Isaac is

In the scene Harrow says “before you *got upset*, you were talking about a boy…” That’s when Jake immediately says “yea I feel better doc” then stands up with that pyramid as a weapon, intending violence.

I thought the same thing when I saw this seen, but I'm not fully convinced that that was jake. I think Jake will officially come out next episode.

For anyone who's familiar with the comics, you know that this little Easter egg is easy to miss unless you've figured out that in the comics Jake Lockley is the most violent but overtime contained thanks to Marc and Steven, where you notice a difference between the two out of three personalities within Marc Spector

In the final there’s also a scene where “Marc” speaks with a jersey accent. I’m convinced that’s actually Jake.

Also Jake is a boxer and it's common for boxers to have wounded nose bridge. Just like how the mind palace took the form of a psychiatric ward because it's what Marc felt most familiar to, Jake probably has the broken nose even in his "afterlife" because he was so used to have it when alive, but each time got healed with Khonshu's power just in time before either Marc or Steven took over.

I already suspected that was joke but the moment he said "your gonna release the monster" that just confirmed it for me

“Marc wouldn’t do that” meanwhile Marc would have a reasonable explanation because he’s trying to find out what is going on with the funny hippopotamus

i really thought this was just marc being derange bcause he and steven were just shot. but looking closely to his expression, its more broader and more serious and very different than how steven and marc expresses their faces.

It is just Marc going crazy. Jake only speaks Spanish or has a heavy Spanish accent when speaking English for all we know

but when marc back to that room he touch his nose again

Oscar Isaac is FANTASTIC.

I like that once harrow knew it was jake he pressed that panic button multiple times

​@@iversonrobb4052 what was confirmed is that they were not going to reveal jake until the very end, I believe this as a very good scene but they didnt wanted this to be the introduction to jake hence they came to a decision of reveal him with the spanish and at the last scene,because in terms of reveals he was a) shoed in the first episode a one of the 2 reflections before the jackal, b) the black outs and shoot outs all have the 3 same trademarks, they are blackouts that are stron, they have extreme violence associated and they happen at huge moments of distress or anger which are consistent with the most likely scenario were a personality like jakes would have developed and c) he was inderictly shoed as steven and mark did start to notice something was off since cairo d) and extra one a little before the chase in cairo we see mark running ith a hat but he tosses it over thsi was a clear first hint at the fact that jake was the one that started that. Basically what Im saying is yes they did clarify (director and Oscar Isaac) they didnt reveal jake earlier intentionally and only in the last scene but!, they did showed both visual and subtle hint of him, this scene is visual (doesnt have the blackout since this is a different space) and the accent is way of for both mark and steven even his mannerisms, and also this scene doesnt show jak directly since hwas trying to pose as mark knowking well he is hidden from them (mark and steven) Now here me out I do blieve thereis some truth to their statements but doesnt end ther, the show proved a lot of talent from Isaac to portray multiple personalities andI think what happened is that this scen was originally meant to reveal jake however for the show progression didnt make sense so they probably repurposed this to not show jake and decided to give him a proper introduction at the end

@@EstebanBrenesV no the director himself went on twitter and said that was not Jake Lockley in that scene multiple times. He has confirmed it was Marc as well. Stop trying to think you’re a genius

@@iversonrobb4052 Sure you are rude nobody said Im a genius, also andrew garfield said he was not in spider man, a comment is just a comment and this was my take, I believe the scene was changed and that is why they are saying that now, whichever character was that scene hasa differentaccent and behaviourfrom his 2 other characters that oscar isaac showed he could play very well seems like a very obvious shift of character behaviour regardless, read evrything I said, jake was hinted to infinity from the first episode, very blackout was violent hinting at jakefrom episode 1, I am sure thre is a reason for that reply in twitter but use your own common sense and tell me if that scene looks like marc or steven, and dont use the "that doesnt matter they said itin a comment line" think on your own, is either a slip-up or a cover because no matter how you see it that scene is not for steven or mark

He confirmed it after the finale that was Marc, it was clearly Marc in that scene, even Oscar Isaac said we only got to see Jake on the final scene and he wants to explore the character more. No one cares about you take because they’ve been disproven over and over again

Do you remember Nicky Nichols from Orange is the New Black? She had a peculiar accent, and the way she moved her mouth while speaking... is almost the same as Oscar Isaac's mouth. He nailed that accent jeje
