Okay, but I love that at 2:42, Marc and Steven have different sounding screams. It's such a fun character quirk, and it's absolutely hilarious that Steven sounds like an ambulance while Mark sounds almost monotone, staying on one pitch, even though he's fuckin' terrified. Mwah. Gorgeous

Yeah my experience before Moon Knight with DID characters was Mike from Total Drama. It was handled pretty okay (I think) in Revenge of the Island but in All Stars all the Alters were deleted with Mike getting all their skills. I enjoyed how Moon Knight treated DID much more.

Oscar Isaac’s ability to swap between Marc and Steven (also Jake) is incredible I also like how he was able clearly give them distinct mannerisms that are unique to them.

It's amazing how two people played by the same person can have such great chemistry

@Tyco Zer0 I don't mind at all! It's not that different. Technically I'm only in a relationship with the host (the main identity) but I consider all the guys my family. It's like living with 5 or 6 family members but only 1 is around at a time. Plus you get to meet new family members (whenever a new alter shows up) which can also be interesting. I'm only dating one of the guys so it's like having a long distance bf that you only get to hang out with once every month or so. It sucks but it makes every interaction more special so it's doable. I'm not super close to all the guys but the ones I am close to mean a lot to me.

@@farahanis3536 it depends. An alter can front from just a minute or 2, all the way to a few days. If they get front stuck maybe a week (which is never fun for them). Multiple alters can be fronting and switching at once depending on how they are with each other, alters can surface for only a few seconds to check on how the person fronting is and then dip back if theyre able to. It really depends on the individual and how they're feeling. And then sometimes it's uncontrollable. On average an alter will spend half a day to a day and a half fronting.

Oscar Isaac, the VFX artists and the doubles for stand ins (in the scenes where Marc and Steven interact and are in the same shot) deserve a lot more credits, because HOLY sht it’s amazing, especially the scenes where Osiris opens the door for them to leave, and the scenes where Mark and Steven hug-

This show is amazing. It represents exactly what D.I.D. is really like. It's arguing with yourself on a daily basis, it's having to agree with yourself 24/7 over every choice. It's feeling crazy as fuck compared to everyone else. But for some reason. The person you are always gonna feel closest to in some weird way, is yourself. But most importantly, it's so nice to FINALLY see someone who suffers be A HERO. Not some stupid psychopath with a fucking "animal form".

One of the things I loved about the show is it gradually overtime is that They came to accept each other. I’d love to see what season two it would be like with their dynamic. fun fact, Oscar Isaac got his brother to play some parts in the series when the two personalities were split up in the duat episodes.

I mean. Bruce Banner has DID in some comic runs for the same reason as Marc and Steven. It’s why he has such a distinction between the Hulk and Bruce Banner. She-Hulk isn’t a separate entity from Jennifer Walters like Hulk is from Bruce.
