I'd ship Jak and Ashelin back in middle school but thats cause she was hotter than Keira. #middleschoollogic. From a storytelling standpoint, she and Jak had the more interesting dynamic to Jak and Keira who mostly just felt "there" to me.

Honestly, while I like Keira and Jak I wouldn't have minded if Ashlin and Jak got together. My main issue is less that they didn't get together, more that they didn't because of fan outrage than story reasons.

Me neither - played these games when they came out as a kid, and kind of wished they kept that change. Only thing I wished was that there were more mentions, even something as small as Daxter and Jak having a brief chat before being interrupted by the usual shenanigans.

I love how we sloooowly zoom into the guard during your thought process like the gears are turning in his head. I'm just imagining his eyes darting around in confusion under those goggles.

I've always wanted to see a second daxter game it takes place after jak 2 and leads up to Jak 3 with new characters New missions new upgrades new locations and you get play as pecker on certain missions.

We need some Krimzon guard Jak and Daxter game. Sometime between Jak 1 and 2. Like Daxter. Through the eyes of thron and Ashlin, Now, how for how the baron found out: Baron is the supreme leader of the Krimson guards. He might've known the whole time. Basically how a father knows their own child. Plus, hes the supreme comander, he would had info on all his troops. Finally for the whole Mar thing, maybe Jak is named after that fabled hero? Sometimes people are named after legendary heroes of old.

The simple approach to the whole Mar theory is well, like you said Jak simply named after him.

I would really love if Sony took the J&D franchise and made a HBO show like they are planing for other games. Be able to see what every side character was up to under the events of Jak 2 - 3 when we as a player weren't in direct contact with them. The J&D universe is so rich with intriguing stuff going on that it would be a waste to leave it forever on the backburner.

Reboots are basically new franchises, reusing some old, fan favorite characters just to attract fans to the new project. Its the worst thing that could happen to jak and daxter. The universe still has many stories waiting to be told.

About The Part With The precursor Stone I Don't think The krimzon guard told The Baron about it because he might Have died when The metal head sneak attack happened. Plus, Ashelin clearly says: "damn, its Just us"

@@VtnVivi Seriously with the constant amount of entertainment I've been binging this year. Going back to explore the classics & taking subtle details that never meant anything before, and letting the reality of what the creators envisioned come to light.... It's really made me take a look at alot of older games that I grew up with & search for a deeper meaning that might have been lost, whether from creative differences, censorship, or just a lack of ability; the detail remaining still tells an amazing story!!! Even if the game hasn't particularly aged well.... You are awesome!

It still bothers me that Naughty Dog doesn’t expand the lore of Jak & Daxter. They never explore were the Metal Heads created, Gol & Maia’s backstory, Keira’s backstory, the Uncle from TPL, Ashelin’s character arc, How Baron Praxis became the ruler of Haven City, everything including Mar and this “Jak is Mar” Plothole is still having us wonder if Jak is really Mar or not because there was the statue of Mar in Jak 2 and his physical appearance is different from Jak even though we didn’t him in the flesh. Like I told you, Jak & Daxter is a great video game series, it’s just that Naughty Dog doesn’t care about it’s lore and it’s going through a rough direction. Instead, Naughty Dog focuses on expanding the lore of Uncharted and The Last of Us. Like the Last of Us HBO Series, we should get a Jak & Daxter TV Show so it can expand the lore more. I’m ok with an Uncharted Movie, it’s just that the cast is a mixed bag and I also like Tom Holland.

Yes but what can Keira do other than look mad? Her man is being poached by a woman she knows she cannot compete with. Ashelin is much hotter and seductive plus she's a military captain so ain't no way Keira's taking her out in a fight either. All she has to rely on is if Jak can resist her advances. 😂

You know what’s really stupid about the whole epilogue ending of ty the Tasmanian tiger 1 right? That whole robot ty thing never went anywhere! Never seen again in ty 2 and 3! You get what I mean at all?

It's funny how Ashelin came out with a full head of hair, while Praxis had metal parts installed for bald spots.

I do feel like if anybody could continue the story of Jak saga, it would be either Big Red Button, because of their former ties with Naughty Dog or Ready at Dawn because of their splendid work on Daxter back in the day, plus they have a knack for adapting other properties very well, like the God of War series and of course Jak and Daxter. Also i do believe that Sony would've acquired Ready at Dawn if they didn't screw up the Order 1886, cause it happened with other companies that made Sony money, like Insomniac Games took it on after Spider-Man became the success way bigger than imagined by both parties, it's likely that Insomniac refused being taken over by Sony for years, before they decided to bite the bullet.

I believe the intel on Ashelin that lead to the resistance is Krew, he work with Baron to make a bomb piercer and told him about her.

Bro that was a weird move by Naughty Dog, Ashelin and Torn seemed to suit each other best bro, she was the Captain of the Krimzon unit and he was a former guard from the KG and now the leader of the Underground, they around the same age and they seemed to know each other for a long time bro way before meeting Jak, I've always thought Jak and Keira loved each other for real bro, Jak grew up with her and Keira been looking for Jak when they was seperated in Jak II, yo I was kinda sad when she was left out in Jak 3, they could of showed the relationship in the last game before the kiss at the end, yo I feel like Jak suit Keira best

I personally still wouldn't imagine ND having interest.

RATCHET & CLANK VS JAX & DAXTER VS BANJO & KAZOOIE who would win go. For me no idea. Banjo & Kazooie are tuff as nails and have survived a lot. Rachet & Clank have all those Guns so many weapons. Jax & Daxter have super powers that increase their abilitys ten fold. So no idea.

If we never get a Jak IV, I think it would be cool to get more spinoffs. And if we do get a Jak IV I think it might be best if a studio like Insomniac took a stab at the series considering that Naughty Dog is a completely different company now than they were when they made the Jak games.

If you take suggestions for video ideas I think I have an interesting idea for a Jak and Daxter video. In the Daxter game, it was revealed that the whole game was a story Daxter was telling everyone. This makes me think back to when people were debating on how much of Qwark's story was true in the 2016 reimagining, as Daxter is known to exaggerate when telling his stories. You think it could be possible that some things from the game were made up by Daxter to make his story sound more interesting ? Probably not but its still an interesting idea to go over.

Those books were part of Limited Run Games' Collector Bundles. I believe it's really hard to find them now.

See, this is why we should expand universes from our beloved IPs. In the PlayStation Universe, we want to expand the Sly Cooper Universe in the TV Show, Sly 5, Reboot, and Comic Books. For Jak & Daxter, we expand it with a Reboot and Comic Books. We know that the Uncharted Movie is getting an expanded universe focusing on a Young Nathan Drake and The Last of Us HBO Series is also an expanded universe taking place sometime in and before The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2. See, this is why we want our beloved IPs from Disney, PlayStation, etc. get more popularity! For example, since Wreck-It Ralph doesn't have a lot of popularity, we should expand the universe with a 3rd Movie, TV Show on Disney+, and Comics because I want that to happen and that includes The Incredibles. We know that the Aladdin Remake is expanding the universe with 2 Sequels and Spin-Offs since the remake did pretty good at the box office and back in the 90s, the Original Aladdin expanded the universe with 2 Direct Video Sequels and a TV Show! Which is that in the Disney Universe, I want more Aladdin and Wreck-It Ralph and in the PlayStation Universe, I want more Sly Cooper! And for Sonic, since the 2020 Movie did pretty good at the box office, we are getting sequels and I can't wait for 2020 Sonic to return!

Regarding Mek being Jar: wacky time travel and a total disregard for logic aside, people never seem to notice the elephant in the room. Jak has no leadership ability, no real technical ability, he does not have a way with technology. He never excelled at those things, he never had it in him. And if he lived a long life then "made young again through magic technology", why doesn't Jak act any different in X? He does not act like a wise old man. Think about that too, smart theorists.

I agree with a lot of this. I typically use these points myself. But nothing indicates that The Mar was particularly young. It is possible that as Jak grows up he simply gains these things. You know, character development and all. Honestly, Jak's technical ability and leadership ability has undoubtedly been getting development throughout the series. The latter especially so in Jak 3 and Jak X. Not supporting the "Jak time traveled to become The Mar at the end of Jak 3" theory, but Jak is a bit more mature in Jak X.

@@NotOrdinaryInGames This is more about skill-set than personality. The things you discussed are things people can learn post 19 yrs of age. Jak is literally only a teenager throughout the entire trilogy (even when including JX:CR), so he has much room to grow across all fronts.
