Happy 20th Anniversary Jak and Daxter! my best universe game of PlayStation 🎮 I wish your birthday wish was for you to come back with a Remake in trilogy

Jak II was one of the first games I saw on ps2. I always saw My big brother play it but when I would try it out I couldn't even pass the second mission. Some years later I got this game for christmas. It was the best feeling I ever had. When I tried it out and learnt the mechanics better I completed the game (100%). Then I tried Jak II once again and was actually able to play the game and not die by a znorkle. In conclusion, even though Jak II was, is and will always be My favourite of the bunch, I would still be unable to beat it if it wasn't for TPL. So for that, thank You Jak and Daxter TPL and happy 20th anniversary!

Agreed! Jak II is my favourite from the series too! But Jak TPL was the OG, and filled with joy and purity. The games became darker as we grew with the characters -- it was the perfect evolution

I have been playing on Xbox for 12 years, but J&D is my favorite videogame series and I would buy a PlayStation instantly if Jak 4 became real!

Thanks so much bro it means a lot! Yes that video was the inspiration to this! I tried to recreate that so it looked familiar and nostalgic to those who’ve seen it, plus I’ve always wanted to put myself in a video game, especially a perfect place like Sandover 😃 I was hoping to see your retrospective video!

Has it really been 20🤯 i still play this series like it just came out

I've always really loved this trailer, especially the music. You did a great job recreating it, I even love the little details like making sure the "outside bsp" is on screen in that one Spider Cave clip. Excellent work mate!

Thanks so much man! Im glad you noticed the details like the outside bsp text. It happens around 3 times in the trailer and I made sure to include them all as well as other details that can be seen in the comparison on my twitter. I loved the music too, and changing it was one big challenge but on the other hand it gave me a chance to give something “fresh” to see apart from the visuals. Appreciate your words and keep up the good work yourself mate!

Im glad you liked it! Keeping that passion was very challenging but Im very happy it still gives that same feeling I felt when I was little!

DaxterMaster, you've done a fantastic job with this. Also do you think that you could the same thing for Sly and Ratchet? Seeing that they'll both be turning 20 by the end of next year.

Thank you so much! I think they're both doable, however theres an outtake from the Ratchet trailer that will be hard to recreate, probably it has to be upscaled. (The other one is a bit difficult as I dont have access to free camera on Ratchet 1) Sly 1 should be all doable, Im a bit less familiar with it as I played it much less than Ratchet or Jak even though I did play it about 3-4 times in total Id have to revise the levels before recording footage. If there's a good demand I'd love to do them both. They take a lot of work to record the gameplay the same way but seeing there's still a lot of time, I could try doing them once I have some time :)

They did, but the way they did for Uncharted 3 too. With a simple blog post and a tweet. I didnt expect anything else. ND has moved on from J&D years ago.
