Jaime Wyatt On LGBTQ Representation In Country Music; Says Inclusive Palomino Festival Is The Future

Our Anthony Allen Ramos chats with queer country artist Jaime Wyatt about taking part in the first ever Palomino Festival happening at the Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on July 9. The festival is bringing together an inclusive lineup of boundary-pushing artists in country, folk and beyond including Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Orville Peck and more. Wyatt talks about her excitement for taking the Palomino stage and she also talks about how country music is finally becoming a more inclusive place for LGBTQ artists. She also talks about working on new music after releasing her acclaimed album "Neon Cross" in 2020. Tickets for Palomino Festival are available at PalominoPasadena.com

I keep hearing from music press how she's like this modern outlaw. Lol nothing says outlaw like towing the line to the Nashville establishment and woke cultural establishment. But I get it she's got her music to promote and make money. I can name you a real modern outlaw like Aaron Lewis
