@@DanaW752 yeah I've heard her music before. There's nothing remarkable groundbreaking about her. The only reason people like is because she's a lesbian since it's hip now to be anything other than straight.

She and shooter did such a dream job on this record. This song and L I V I N are my favorites. I love her so much.

I'll be honest, I'm one of those 'I'll listen to anything but country' people. But this... If there was more country like this on the radio, I'd be more open to the genre. This is phenomenal.

There’s tons of great country artists out, what you hear on the radio isn’t country in the least. Jaime is one of the good ones, she puts on a great show every time. Unsolicited but here’s a few of the people I listen to that would be in the same school of country as Jaime. Colter Wall, Sturgill Simpson, Whitney Rose, Sam Outlaw, Tyler Childers, Charley Crockett, Kacey Musgraves, and my current obsession Orville Peck.

Country on the radio is just repackaged pop music. "Good country" has simply been rebranded as Americana.

I don't care how this is categorized, but it's got soul...last time I heard something similar to this was Dwight Yoakam in the 80's

Immediately, Jamie Wyatt is one of the most stunning, distinctive voices I have heard in years. Her writing is a beguiling mix of stormcloud and rose-blossom. This song alone should shake some people up, big time. Shooter Jennings, gifted artist and son of outlaw legends Jessi Colter and Waylon Jennings, has outdone himself on this project, in terms of production. This sounds wet and mighty. But if the heights of Olympus fall, they fall on Wyatt, and she is more than up to the task. She floods the world with unending streams of quicksilver. Best singer I’ve heard in some time.

Catching up: Jaime’s album (“Neon Cross”) came out at the peak of initial lockdown. This album is too freaking brilliant to forget, this singer-songwriter is too brilliant-don’t DARE overlook her. She’s touring all the way through late October into November in some great spots. (But not in my part of California 😫). Buy tickets to see her and buy her album at her shows. I fell head over heels in love with her music when I discovered her two years ago. I have my own album coming out at the end of the month and I rarely glorify other artists-this lady is mind-bogglingly gifted. Jaime! I’ll rustle up some action at the Golden State Theater in Monterey, CA on Nov 10. That’s my territory but I won’t be in town. Damn! Kick ass on tour, stalwart. I can’t wait to see you perform. Godspeed.

This is insanely good! When I first heard this song it triggered something inside (in a good way). It felt like good’ol outlaw country. Sure enough there’s Shooter. I love everything about this and I hope to hear more from the talented Ms. Wyatt.

I saw Jaime Friday night in Raleigh perform an acoustic version of this. It was the first time I've seen her perform live and wish her part of the concert had been a little longer.

One of my favorite albums of the decade! Jaime has an amazing voice, killer lyrics, and is an underrated rhythm guitarist--check out that busy galloping right hand strum on this track.

Great job guys. That's a winner, Jimi.

Great song, with a fascinating reversal in the video of the guy-in-a-strip-club-trope. Is she Everywoman -- she's the gas station attendant, she's the strip-club patron, she's the stripper, she's the club singer elsewhere -- or simply revealing some of her different identities? Either way, it works!
