My friend got pranked by his girlfriend pretty much the exact same way last year, only she told him that she had thrown a water bottle at a car that had swerved into her lane, which turned out to be an unmarked cop car. He totally bought it but he was so pissed off at her for getting herself into that mess that he told her to enjoy a night in jail because he's not bailing her out until tomorrow, and then he hung up.
