"There's something wrong with everyone else!" Is objectively a much funnier outlook when you don't understand what asexuality is and that you're asexual than, "There's something wrong with me." Not to invalidate that struggle, it's perfectly normal, and deserves reassurance, and it's okay to have gone through that, and it's absolutely something that needs to be remedied in society. But, again, it's not nearly as funny as assuming that the problem must be everyone else.
