Steven Tyler wrote that song when he was 15 years old.🤘🏼The greatest feeling in an Aerosmith concert is the one you get singing along with every person there to this amazing anthem. It’s indescribable. 🔥

True. Seen them 6 times!!! Those toxic twins are wildly entertaining!!!!
When this song came out it was the SHIT!! This is like Aerosmith's Stairway To Heaven. As a guitar player this was the song for everyone to learn how to play. This band has been through all the classic Rock N Roll demons and thank God they all came out alive and well. Before Covid they were setup in Vegas. As these bands are getting older they figured out hey lets play in one place Vegas the entertainment capital of the world and let the Fans come to us! Genius. No more touring.

@@dawnbailey910 Yes, everyone compares a Giant Hit that stands out to Stairway To Heaven. We say that's their Stairway To Heaven. This was Aerosmith's Stairway To Heaven.

Yes, that's exactly how I see it, as Aerosmith's Stairway to Heaven

Stairway was somewhat derivative, if you're aware of the musical landscape of the day. Dream On kinda stands on its own.

I am 62yo and have to say, in my opinion, we had the BEST music growing up! I raised my children (now in their 30’s) with this music & they have such an appreciation for quality music today…
I'm a white man, 65 years of age... And I LOVE watching black people respond to things. In my early years we were trained (not by my parents) to be apprehensive of (ALL) black people. But watching MANY black men & women, and listening to them, on these videos, has helped shatter my fears of (ALL) blacks. I realize some white hate blacks and some blacks hate whites. That's true. I find my white self, endeared to you two, and people like you. I think this venue is a wonderful thing.
This song is almost 50 yrs. old! I was a 15year old High school kid when this was released. I'm going to be 65 in August. Those were the days.
Steve Tyler has that CLASSIC metal scream!
This was the song that made me fall in love with Aerosmith. I am 40 now. But when I was a kid my dad gave me a stack of records...including Aerosmith & MJ's Billie Jean album among dozens of others. Unfortunately I lost them during a flood. But man...this song takes me back to a simpler time. Great reaction 😊❤🙏
Hey Jai, I’m a black man who saw all these rockers in their hey day. “U R A HEAD BANGER NATURALLY!!!” Its so much music out there like that, that I know u’ll bang to!!
You guys HAVE to watch Steven Tyler performing this song at Howard Sterns Birthday Bash...Great performance

i was already a big fan but you’ve got a scooby doo shirt. respect
when you hear someone say "classic rock" this is exactly what they are talking about right here... loved your reaction guys!! look into doing "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, you will love that song and the words, 100% powerful
Love your reactions but I love watching Jai when she looks at you. EVERY time is like the first time she looked at you when she knew she was in love with you. She soooo is and it shows on her completely!!! I love it.
THOROUGHLY enjoyed this folks! My friends and I choreographed a dance to this when I was 12 yrs old! Eons ago. Great songs don't die. ❤️🤙Thanks for the awesome throwback. Jai, your reaction was priceless 😄🤙
I believe you could sit in the front row at any rock concert & bang with the best of them 🎸
Steven Tyler (lead vocals) of Aerosmith had been taught to play piano... then became a drummer for local bands in Boston in the 60's. He formed Aerosmith w/ guitarist Joe Perry & bassist Tom Hamilton... and Ray Tabano on guitar in 1970. Tyler sang and played drums until drummer Joey Kramer joined, putting him up as the frontman. Soon after, guitarist Brad Whitford joined, ousting Tabano... Aerosmith got signed in 1972, their debut album released in 1973. 'Dream on' was 1 of Steven Tyler's first songs written... being broke & living in Boston w/ his bandmates, still dreaming about making it big after years of struggle. The song didn't do much in '73... but when Aerosmith's 3rd album 'Toys in the attic' became Aerosmith's first commercial hit record in 1975, 'Dream on' was re-released as a single and went top 40! Guitarist Joe Perry didn't like the song, so Brad Whitford played most of it in the studio.
Great Aerosmith songs: Make it, Mama Kin, Seasons of Wither, Woman of the World, Big Ten Inch Record, Uncle Salty, Toys in the Attic, Kings and Queens, Draw the Line, Sweet Emotion, Same old Song and Dance, Spaced, Lord of the Thighs, Back in the Saddle, Remember (Walking in the Sand)...... enjoy!!
Eminem used this song as a sample in "Sing For the Moment".😁🔥 It was a banger and a huge song for Em.😍😋 That may be where you heard it from.🤔 If not y'all oughta check it out!😅 I mean, what the heck, it's Eminem! 🐐😊🤣❤✌

"DREAM ON!" ROCK AND ROLL HALF & JAI!
This is one of those songs you can't turn down or turn off until it's done. If it comes on the radio while you're in a drive-thru, everyone behind you just has to wait.
Ahhh one of the great power ballads of all time. Love you guys.
I was around 15 when this was a hit! Listening to it on my Panasonic ball radio on a chain! 😅 One of the best Rock bands to ever grace the stage! ❤❤
This was off their first album which came out in January 1973. It went nowhere because of no press, no radio, no airplay, no reviews, no interviews. They released their second album in March 1974(Get Your Wings) and it received much more airplay and publicity. People found out about their first album, went back and listened to it and the rest is history.
ONE of the BEST SOUNDING Songs to Be RELEASED IN THE 1970s , I M A PROUD 70s Brat
I don't care what color your skin, you see Aerosmith Live or AC/DC live and you understand what my high school years were about
Omgggg.....awesome song....Aerosmith was the first concert my hubby and I saw together in 1977!!!! 😊 adore you both....many blessings 💙🦋
Please do more black country singers, Kane Brown, Jimmie Allen, Charley Crocker, Charley Pride. Thank you
A beautiful song, a beautiful reaction, two beautiful people! Just loved your reaction.
Dont wanna miss a thing is by then & Ja had a strong reaction to that song 😭 his voice & music is a whole era ..they one the Kings of classic rock♟💯💯
Steven Tyler was like 23 yrs old on this album. Check out a band called Chain Reaction, song called "When I needed you" its 1966 and Steven Tyler singing and playing drums at 16 yrs old. Amazing.
😂 love it! Jai head bobbin! Get you some a that girl! I have always liked Motown and funk….but what a lot of people don’t realize rock and southern rock music were also very funky and soulful! Now imagine listening to that music and driving a 454 Chevelle with headers, a sig erson cam, all tripped out with incredible wide tires and beautiful Crager super sport wheels. Then you put that music on and get in some races, at your local cruise spots! Even though a lot of people did drugs back then…I didn’t, I didn’t need to. I got high riding in that car in the blasting that music, with my car rumbling shaken, shaken and shaken….😂😂 Man I miss those days. I was so blessed to be brought up during that time. 😊
I’m sick of following my dreams. I’m just going to ask them where they’re going and hook up with them later.

Its always fun whenever someone covers this on American Idol or one of the other talent shows, b/c everyone is just waiting on the edge of their seats to see if they can hit the high note at the end. We all know its coming.
This right here is my favorite song of all time and imo, it's THEE best song ever created.
Old school Aerosmith is the best... Back In The Saddle,Big Ten Inch, Toys In The Attic, Kings &Queens ,Nobodys Fault. Steven Tyler was 14/15 years old when he wrote Dream On.
I love your reaction to this. Aerosmith is truly one of the greatest rock bands ever. I've seen them in concert 2x, back in 91 and 2019. I grew up in a city next to Boston, and found out they used to practice in a friends garage a few blocks from me! 😲...
I knew it. Old school Rock. Right in the pocket. You are awesome for this reaction on this. My Auntie first turned me to this. She passed a few years back and this brought us back together for a few minutes. Thank You Beautiful!
Loved the reaction guys, is why you're Awesome! One of the greatest song ever. 1973 debut album baby!!

That is a song that you can’t wear out. That was one of your guys best reviews, not just the song but your action!
My favourite couple!
I love when younger people get into the music I grew up on. You guys are awesome.
I’ve heard that when Steven Tyler first recorded this song, he was actually doing lines as you can hear at the beginning of the song. “All these lines on my face getting clearer” then he sniffs. Great song regardless. I’ve seen them in concert back in 2002? Awesome to see live! They closed with this song.
Love this song. Aerosmith is a great band. Love the singer Steven Tyler. Check out Kane Brown song Heaven and a few others of his. My one son in law went to school with him. You guys are amazing and love your reactions. Beautiful couple love y'all
I just love y'all's overall attitude and spirit. Love ya both! PEACE!!!!!
It's been awhile since I've been back on any channels. But I enjoy the harmony between you guys , it's always uplifting. Also Jai, I've been wanting to say to you that I think you are an incredibly beautiful woman inside and out, and know that NO one can ever take that from you... I hope that all your dreams come true!!!
I LOVE that you get this. your passion and emotion is not wasted. millions of people share that with you. music is the thing that should bring all of us together, regardless of race, creed, color and backgrounds. what you guys are doing is important. keep it up
I've seen these guys 4 different times and every time was just Awesome!!!
Wow! Loved your reaction. You really can't go wrong with Aerosmith.
This is one of those songs I will never get tired of listening to
There is nothing Steven Tyler can't do. His father, ironically, graduated from Julliard so Steven is a master on the piano but chose rock n roll. He also tried Country Music with a single/video entitled "Love Is Your Name" He's as hot as ever at 70 and his granddaughter is in this video with him. Check it out! Love you guys! ❤
The lyrics are like Skynards Simple Man, or Dire Straights Brothers in Arms. The older you get, the more harder and haunting the meaning
My favorite song from my favorite band. Great reaction, love you guys!🎶✌💜
That made me smile tonight, love your reaction to a great song! Dream On!
Wow, it was so cool to see the two of you-- Half turning Jai onto a great song. I could see how much you wanted Jai to groove to this song!!
Toys in the Attic, the whole album.Love you guys. Will be 25 years married this year to my darling, I see in you both the friendship and love we started with and continues. Much love to you!
I am still voting to check out my all time favorite love song. The Darkness - I believe in a Thing Called Love.
Loved Aerosmith since I was a kid!
It's just good old-fashioned feel good music 🎵🎶
Born a classic Dream on. Enjoy content Keep having fun.
Classic song... Awesome reaction guys! Much love
You should know: Research his true ethnic background... In the Aerosmith autobiography Walk This Way, Steven says that he changed his voice on the first few albums because he didn't like the sound of it at first. He said because of where he came from he wanted to sound 'black' and more bluesy. That's why the whole of that album his voice sounds really different.
Steven Tyler wrote this song when he was only 17. He' S called The demon of screamin for a reason.. Rock on, guys
Hello there .guys...Lots of good tunes lately ..Digging it..Appreciate you guys
They along with many other bands formed our morals and gave us values for living life. There are many songs from the 60's, 70's and yes even some 80's that help people have a clearer vision in life.
Love you guys....Respect!!!!
