Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Although our wilderness is vastly different, they both have their dangers that only a real man can maintain his stance to. you have salt water crocodiles and sharks. snakes and spiders. we have wolves and cougars. Grizzlies and moose. I think it's our affinity and respect for nature that we recognize with one another. With love , from Canada.

Only the last 10 seconds were awkward because Stephen was forcing Jai into accepting what could be considered an offensive, stereotypical portrayal of an Australian. I feel like the majority of people judge Jai based on his acting career rather than who he is as a person. I loved him in Spartacus and Suicide Squad, the interview's i've seen of him show that he's willing to share anything and everything with a great sense of humor. He's a genuine dude at heart, godfather to the late Andy Whitfield's children, got a tattoo in memorial and supports the United Service Organization. Despite the fact that no actor has ever remarked having a problem with him, i personally think he's a nice guy, not stupid or awkward as some claim. Let's not all jump on the bandwagon, look into it first. One interview doesn't cut it, it's Stephen after all, he makes everything cringey.

Alot of people talking about how awkward the interview was. I gotta agree, but it's not all Jai's fault. Yes, he's clearly not a complete extrovert so interviews don't seem to come naturally to him. But it's also about the questions. There's more to Australia than frigging boomerangs and crocodile dundee and "throw a shrimp on the barbie". If Americans were going on chat shows and being interviewed on tired old cliche subjects that stereotyped Americans, they might get sick of it after a while too.
