Motoring journalists from Europe and the USA have nothing but praises for this car. The C-class has become a joke with it's boring design, underwhelming performance and lazily done interior as MB themselves do not seem to be too interested in the segment anymore focusing more on it's popular GL line, the mass market A,CLA and the legendary S Class which still rules the full size luxury saloon car segment. Every reviewer says the XE is better than the 3 series though the XES/R would be no match for the M3. I love Jaguar's entire current line up and kudos to TATA for allowing Jaguar to run autonomously without interference from it's parent. Aggressive marketing should be employed by Jaguar to draw customers to their cars which are far superior than the competition's but lose out due to lower brand appeal in India. Jaguar is on a roll in US and China, two markets which Jaguar gained massive popularity only about half a decade ago.

The F-Type rear lights hark back to the E-Type. So same thing :)

Terrible pricing.. and what makes it funnier is that Jaguar is offering the XF at discounted rates of 42L. Seems like they are competing with themselves lol.

For that period of time, clashing prices with one's own car is a big negative for any company. This is the same reason why the Hyundai Elantra sales have gone up in the past few months. Simple reason being the Creta is priced dangerously close and people would rather take the former since its a whole segment above than the latter!

wanna know the fun part....these cars will be driven by "Ramu" the driver...chaahe gaadi kitni achi drive karthi ho..Ramu will be enjoying it in the end ,not the owner. These cars are made for the chauffeur not the owner....lolz..i just envy the drivers..the get to do every thing with the owner nevaa will.

I don't understand why these big car giants don't make beautiful cars..they have resources, money, R&D etc still they making average looking cars..I think they should hire a designer who has passion for cars not a degree from reputed uni..same like 5 stars hotels people enjoy food more on roadside rather than 5*s...

+Harsh Panchal That was XE S and 335i M, Those two have completely different engines, V6 vs inline 6 engine.... Those two won't be coming to India anytime soon. But in terms on Normal XE and 320d, BMW wins....

Well the suspensions on this are not that good become it uses a new horizontal torsion beam like equipment so it won't be that good on Indian roads, in this category BMW 3 series stands a clear winner

+Rohan Singh but on xe jaguar used dynamic suspension which combined of front trosion beam and rear air suspension while bmw uses air suspension for softer but on bumps its not good clearly jag is a winner
