They shouldn't be able to be shot from the side. Their whole point was for melee or utility to get rid of them. At least they should be renamed if kept the way they are.

Remember when Jager wasn't just the best op at denying nades but the best op in the game? I think he has to be the most nerfed operator taking big hits to literally everything in his kit except his pistol, and yet he is still this good just because at its core his gadget provides something that you always want

Ikr right, one point in time his carbine was easily the best weapon on defense and could even outgun some attackers, having him in second made me feel kinda insulted as an old jaeger main but then again this game has drastically changed since Years 1 & 2

Yeah, Jager is at least still a solid pick, BB is quite literally the worst op right now

One thing I noticed, gridlocks trax are also not affected by ads, only mag-nets, just like capitao

I do agree that wamai is very strong because the magnets are throwable and could be set up if you are behind cover

Nades and flashes still work with wamai and obviously with jäger you can set them up way faster and they RECHARGE unlike wamais which take forever and you only get like 6 of jäger is simply better pick wamai is underpicked for a good reason

Yeah aruni is the kind of op that just becomes more useful when paired with others. Her ability to stop 1 gadget for all 3 laser gates is kinda on the same line as Jäeger. It doesn’t have the same radius, only limited to walls, doors, and hatches but it also has the physical damage aspect. Applying 30 damage to a player. This combined with a castle and a kapkan can make a door to an objective one of the most painful obstacles to deal with. Both utility and health wise. Her gadget can also be reset so it does have infinite charges as well it is the indestructible.

Whoever the enemy team plays seems to always be the best operator.

Personally I prefer Prox Alarms over Barbed Wire. It’s easier to capitalize on the trigger of the alarms than it is on barbed wire because if they are hidden well, attackers have to look for them to deactivate them

My argument based on the title is easy (since it's asking whose the best at denying grenades): Jäger. He is the only operator that can safely deny a grenade totally in 3 separate areas with the most versatile placement. With enough time between grenades thrown as well, Jäger can TECHNICALLY deny an infinite number of grenades, unlike Wamai, and is more flexible with placement over Aruni. HOWEVER, overall-operator wise, I'd say personally Wamai. His gadget is as flexible as Jäger's, and while it doesn't delete the projectile, it does pull it away from what you're trying to protect. He also has better guns than Jäger (and to a small degree I'd argue Aruni), and he still brings enough utility to be worth it in most situations.

1:31 umm, what do you mean they don't mesh well? People will use utility to blow up or remove barb wire and bullet proof cams. Am I just missing something?

Original design over Jaeger was top tier, since each ADS had 2 charges so total of 6. And if you were smart with the timing of how to reset it before it dies out, you technically could of have 1 incl Jaeger Tricking would equal 4 so upto 12+ uses until inactive. However thanks to the rework of him, even aside of the gun he’s a shell of himself. He’s able to place his gadget in a lot of places if you position him right funny enough. Qamai is a character that can do what Jaeger can but slightly better and on the fly. Aruni is slightly underrated since her gadget stops whatever projectiles including operator abilities and drones. Her counter is pretty much everything however she wastes Utility and also some players just take 1 for the team incl Monty. Her team still benefits when she dies since they are able to reset but that’s like 15-25sec I can’t remember. She can counter a lot however is countered by a lot as well. Oh, and on top of that even when you deactivate the gadget, it has like 2-3sec where it’s still somewhat active and can even do more damage if not thought of properly

You missed the fact that wamai discs need to charge up meanimg if you die early youve provided arguably less than jager. Plus the ads recharges after ten seconds if im not mistaken which remains after death

wamai is receiving a 1.5 scope on his mp5, this will bring him up further making him even better than jaeger but yes as you've said, if your a bad player and die in the first 20-30 seconds of the round then yes jaeger would be better for the team but if you can stay up for at least a minute then wamai stays on top.

aruni also can just destroy defender's projectiles or gadgets, thats a minus for aruni, and wamai also just moving projectiles to the magnets, still can be punished

Wamai's gadget sucks against smoke grenades. Attackers smoke doorway for a plant. Wamai's gadget pulls it to the side. Door is still smoked anyway.

What screen size is he playing? It's a 3:4? Or what?

jager is waaaay better, a coordinated team can stomp wamai, this is a video on nade DENIAL after all.

I would say jäger is SLIGHTLY better than wamai, because misusing him can a will get your teammates killed, jäger ability is 100% set and forget, so you can run him as u see fit, aruni is kinda like a duck, and by that I mean she does everything but she isn’t really good at anything, if u want entry denial, run kapkan, if u want to frag out alibi is better, protecting site, azami and kaid/bandit will be better. But she is the only op in the game that can somewhat cover every other op and still be decent

Yeh I love alarms, unless you're near the barbed wire you ain't hearing it whereas alarms, most everyone hears those, plus if you hide them well they'll just keep going off. I do like me some wire tho don't get me wrong, if I had to pick...I think I'd go alarms actually

Jagar is by far the best nade denial operator. Wamai is only useful when you have a less coordinated enemy and should only be played as a situational pick. (Clubhouse rafters to block capitao bolts) And I don’t even know why arunis here 🤷‍♂️

i think aruni can be great for solo q. she has great guns, can make her own rotates and head holes, and has a cam or barb wire. her ability is great for solo because of the sound qs you get and you can know a general area of entry
