When Commies showed up in Berlin to celebrate with USA.. they take IS-3 to ride.. and USA and UK was like..what is this UFO TANK.... they didnt had answer to IS-3 for more than 15 years.. If they didnt stop at Berlin on show.. we will now all be commies. IS-3 was indestructable

    Wow, sounds like a drag race car with a big ass cam installed in it. Wonder why? I doubt they have the engine tuned for high specific horsepower. They usually go with low-RPMs, high torque, long life and good reliability. I guess it doesn't sound much different from an aircraft engine, actually. Also, I didn't expect that much suspension movement just from driving around. These don't have hydraulic suspension do they? I thought it was regualr old torsion bar stuff.

    Gawd, thats a beautiful beast. I once told my buddy who was a tanker in the gulf, that i bet that those ww2 german tanks would give a better run for the money than those T 72s., he gave me this equation King tiger vs T 72= 1% chance for KT, KT vs M1A1 = less than 0, NAW you think he is right?

  • @mvm1162

    @mvm1162

    3 жыл бұрын

    Late answer perhaps, but your buddy is right. No WW2 tank would stand a chance against a modern MBT in a one-on-one engagement. First, WW2 could not really shoot on the move with any chance of hitting. Second, fire control today is much much better, so a modern tank can hit the KT with the first round at up to 2500 meter easily. Frontal armour of any modern tank is impenetrable for the KT's gun while the KT armour stands no chance agains any APFSDS-round. The only way the KT would stand a chance is when it could attack (unseen) from the rear or from the top (as from a high hill position). Modern MBT still have the main armour at the front, but the top and rear are still vulnerable.

    The best tank killer of ww2.Why did the Germans build King Tigers.Jagdtigers.Ferdinads?In the same time they could have easily manufactured far far more Jagdpanthers.It had the same gun as King Tiger.And even a stronger 105mm was developed.It was easy to manufacture.Reliable.Fast.Awesome Armor and incredible firepower. Not to mention the heavy guided anti tank missiles with dual warhead and a 10kg explosive main charge...
