This line is hands down my favorite thing going right now. I handle these figures more than any other figs I own. They’re just so much fun to pose.

Recently decided this is going to be the first line I’m all in on. Not only are they hands down the best value for the price point - but we don’t get flooded with releases like with other lines. Love the pacing, helps my wallet breath a bit 😂 quality over quantity all day.

This is a good point. I’ve been collecting neca tmnt for a while and it is an unstoppable waterfall of content that I just can’t keep up with. This line is $25 every few months and each figure so far has been an absolute banger. All killer, no filler.

Texture on the clothing, paint shading on the body, extra hands and head plus effect pieces. Plus they pose superbly. I wish they had the Marvel Legends licence.

Hoping Jada eventually makes 3rd Strike figures. Need an Ibuki so bad.

Great review! I’m really excited to get this figure, I’m glad they went the extra mile and changed some things around just so it wasn’t a straight up repaint of Ryu. The head sculpts both look great and they’re the best 6” head sculpts of Ken IMO, after the SOTA and SHF heads didn’t quite get his hair right. I also would have liked an uppercut effect, but I’m sure we’ll see one eventually. Mine unfortunately got pushed back on BBTS, so I won’t have this until early next year. But I’m excited either way, this line is definitely one of my tops of 2023 and I’m looking forward to getting (and maybe animating) more. Great video!

Man the Marvel legends team should definitely take notes on Jada Toys street fighter figures. Especially with the soft hair. These are amazing figures. I'm hype for the cyber punk David figure next year too. Great review bro 🙌🏽

Thank you for your review. What an amazing figure! You answered all of my questions. I was worried if we would have the same issue with the paint chipping off the rubbery hair like we did with Ryu. I too would have preferred a Shoryuken flame effect. But I won't say no to a red Hadouken. Now I don't believe Ken ever had a red Hadouken, I've always known his to be a lighter shade of blue than that of Ryu's. This Red Hadouken will go to my Ryu, and I have a second Ryu who's blue Hadouken will be given to Ken. Some additional hands of Ken holding up the "peace" sign or the "come here" hand jester would have been nice. And I actually wish all of the Jada SF figures came with a head sculpt with their eyes closed. For a knocked oit or meditating pose. But I'm not complaining. I cannot wait to have this figure in hand. Jada Toys has been knocking it out of the park!

I've been playing Street Fighter 2 since the 90s and I just realized, Ken has black eyebrows even if he's blond lol!

The head looks like it solved all the criticisms of the first wave. Multipart molding, no chipping, cleaner paint, and matte finish. Jada doesn't miss.

Yeah these are pure hand candy man. Much more fun to pose and mess with than Marvel Legends

I'm gonna use a Marvel Legend fireball effect to go over his fist for dragon punch. He shoulda came with a 'come on'/'come here' hand

SOTA's Street Fighter Revolution Ken's head is pretty good, but they may be the best Ken head sculpt so far.

This IS the line of 2023...Jada is bringing it to Hasbro and Matel.

There's a Mega Man model kit that comes with a shouryuken effect that would look beautiful with this guy. Gonna have to get them both, lol.

I just got Wave 1 in yesterday and I'm an instant fan with the line. I only really wanted Ryu and Chun Li but since I saw they were doing the whole roster, I got Fei Long too, and I'm glad I did as he looks good. Yeah, a toe tilt would have made them complete, but they are still plenty poseable. Once they finish Street Fighter 2, I hope they move onto Mortal Kombat. The Storm Collectables are good, but they are so expensive.

This version comes straight out of first SFII videogames. It looks very nice.👍

i am so on for this. I am not interested in getting everything, only where my affinity goes, but Ken will come for sure to my house. Got today Fei Long, and damn, the fun of this and the overall sculpting is amazing. I'd love Jada Toys to make Super Street Fighter IV Juri.

I love this line but I really hope Jada's distribution gets better. When Chun-Li started showing up in Target in August I started checking the dozen or so Targets near me each week. Still have not seen one in person, had to resort to using Amazon to get one.

Same here man. I've been paying attention to that whole thing since May when they began to appear to in NorCal Targets. It's now December and I still haven't seen them whatsoever

Maybe the fire shoryuken effect will come with Violent Ken, fingers closed.

The figure is great but I don't get why they put the red hadoken with him (a move from Ryu) instead of a flaming fist. And a victory hand ✌🏼 could be perfect as well

I wonder if the flaming uppercut effect from the old SOTA figure or the one from the Power Rangers figure would work…

Dang ken looks amazing where'd you get it ?

Using PVC instead of ABS plastic for the crotch piece is a game changer. I would love to see some other companies do this, the range of motion is improved tremendously. I think wrestling figure would benefit the most from doing this.

Ken should come up with the flaming Shoryuken and a peace hand sign. Ken was never known for his Hadoken. Ryu is the Hadoken guy. Maybe you can use Fei Long's fire effect as a Shinryu Reppa substitute

I'm hoping they'll also do the 1994 movie version (the animated one), at least the main ones. especially Ken, because I like his design there with a bit slender build and a more orange hair. that way, he's not looking like He-Man.

I think I’ve said this on all of your videos but the only improvement I want on this line is distribution. My target has NO idea what I’m talking about when I ask about these and not one of them have shown up in store. I got Ryu, Fei-Long and Chun-Li all on Amazon.. For now I have Ken pre-ordered on BBTS but he’s a bit more expensive there. I just want to walk into a store and see these.. that’s all.

Yes and no. In early versions of Sf2 Ken and Ryu had a glitched red hadoken. It wasn’t until super turbo where Ryu was given the red hadoken as a special move. Now in Sfv Ken can perform the red hadoken while in V-trigger.

Personally I love the Figuarts Ryu over the Jada one but the Jada Ken might have the edge over Bandai this time.

Jada is literally my favourite company of the year i really loved that universal monsters line it had some issues but STILL it was great but this line is flawless the figures have buttery smooth joints and great range and unlike hasbro their reuse has some new pieces and no innacuracies (( that ml chod was so innacurate for a reuse man still really dissapointed in that ))

Quite disappointed that you didnt get the uppercut effect. I know its a good figure but its what sets ken and ryu apart… in terms of speciality. The face is also a little derpy. But i mean for the price these figures are unmatched so wont complain to much.

Considering that he says in the beginning of the video that Jada Toys sent him one for review, there's no reason to talk about how he got it early.

No one notice if you just swapped Ken's hair for Ryu he'd look exactly the same? Literally he'd just be a smiling Ryu with the bandana and hair.
