I like the story. I don’t understand why God would cause someone to be barren on purpose because she wasn’t liked. He didn’t want her or love her. You can’t force people so the solution was bless one and close the womb of the other

It was the opposite, because Leah was hated, she could then have children, meaning God blessed her for her struggles, and thats what caused Jacob to have his 12 sons and 1 daughter later on. and thank you for saying you like the story, I'm glad to be doing this !

@@BiblePortayed her struggles were caused by her father by making her marry someone that didn’t love her. Jacob loved someone else. Try being happy with someone you don’t love. Jacob was honest from the start and asked for Rachel. So why punish Rachel to be barren and then die? It wasn’t her fault. This story is all messed up and I dont believe a good God would do this on purpose. This is one of theJewish old stories of God that I don’t agree with and don’t believe
