Jacob inspires me to bring my music to the world and to be the person I'm meant to be.

Jacob Collier can be summed up in one word: joy.
Jacob inspires me in so many ways… the way he uses his public clout to bring ‘normal’, ‘weird’, ‘being ok with yourself’, and so much more, back into our lives -in the most honest, gentle and positive way 💛💜💚❤️
Yes, being in his audience choir is absolutely a spiritual experience ❤
Jacob is the choir girls dream. I’m the choir girl.
Jacob collier is one of the most original people I’ve ever come across. Play on Jacob
Jacob is so sophisticated. He is not only a brilliant musician, but his perspective of the world is so unique and awe-inspiring. Thank you for being you Jacon. You inspire me to be who I am :)
"Everybody has a voice, everybody is therefore a musician"....I like that!
I have loved Jacob Collier for so long, I never think about why I love him so much. Then I'll hear him do an interview and I remember why. Also his new song is amazing!
"Everybody has a voice: everybody therefore is a musician." ❤
THE Jacob collier ❤

What an inspiring person ❤
Jacob has such a great style haha
His clothes are like his music, harmony in disharmony, one note from microtonals that has the tone one choose while experiensing.
man, I'm so glad I'm living with you
He’s beautiful inside and out!! ❤️
What a legend.

not much of a fan of him, but say it with me…
There is hope. Jacob is one of these voices.
He's the greatest musician of our time. Ren is probably a better musical storyteller/actor, but Jacob is on another planet musically. Both are undeserved gifts to mankind.
I do love the styling of the clothes
good video but next time could you loop the background music better? it cuts off really awkwardly and the loop is so short that it's really distracting

He's surely talented however his own music doesn't move me. He uses his talent and skills not to express, but to IMPRESS.

You can dislike it but if you study him seriously you'll realize he uses his talent to explore, excite, grow, connect and ultimately say what he feels in the most fresh way possible with the least amount of ego. Nobody's perfect but there are extremes, and he's on the extreme end of being very passionate about sharing exciting ideas and honest feelings with his fans.

@@Proghead88 Yeah, I know that he's an expert in music theory but he is not an artist. He's a great performer but not an artist.

@@ProximaCentauri88 did you read what I wrote? I just described an artist. He was making albums before he knew music theory because he loved expressing himself and discovering new ways of making music. Obviously he was always artistic in more ways than one. You are confused about him. Like I said, you don't have to like his artistry but to say he writes using music theory and not artistic desire and emotion is just flat out wrong. You need to study him more and learn about this aspect of him and his life story.

@@Proghead88 I'm not confused and unlike his cultish fans, I'm not obsessing on him. He's a cool person but he's not a renaissance man. Thanks.

@@ProximaCentauri88 you're not reading carefully. I'm being very specific. Yes, you are confusing ability from passion with ability from intellect. You don't need to LIKE his music at all, not even a little bit, for you to learn the difference between his taste for writing, and his MOTIVATIONS for writing. This is something you can learn by watching many interviews. Nobody is asking you to worship him. I'm asking you to learn how to choose your words more accurately and not go in circles when someone explains something you didn't know. Now you know he writes from a very passionate point of view that has nothing to do with music theory.
Re audience choirs...Bobby Ferrin had been doing them for years before Jacob
We love you !
The terrible background music is so ironic. It is even badly edited together... Come on Rolling Stone!
Did Jacob get his fashion tips from Stevie, as well? Lol

That's probably how everyone without an American accent feels when they hear non-Americans singing in an American accent - it's just unnecessary (I'm an Aussie)
Great. Another Sean William Scott, or another Patrick Swayze/Jim Carrey. Tell me why everyone else lost their privacy, but the rich keep theirs? This shit has to go. IMO.
Jacob loves pajamas, because he's never left his mom's basement. C'mon, you're thirty, go get a flat or something. You can take your toy box, too. Lmao

I'm always on the edge of cringing with JC. There's no doubt he's a musical genius. I can't quite make up my mind whether he's just confident or an arrogant narcissist, I think his posh accent accentuates this. Guess I need to try harder to accept him for who he is 😅. Photoshoots like Zoolander tho... 😬
@arnoudh6203

I don't think he is a narcissist at all, but I do think he is to some extent a bit of a naive person who doesn't understand negativity in the real world and quite how priviledged he is. And that reflects in his lyrics. I can basically summarize his lyrics with "sunlight is nice, home is good & love is awesome" and I wouldn't be missing much. It's a very positive message but it's also quite empty because literally everyone in the world agrees on those things. What do you think?

He's very talented and clearly knows he has genius, but at the same time there's nothing interesting about his music because he has absolutely no idea what normal everyday life is like, which is the inspiration for great art. He seems only inspired by himself, or just music of others.

the "wacky" look and electricuted hair is a camouflage for someone with very little going on inside. his music is similarly all form, his lyrics are trite. but i like those pants.
