I can't even imagine being in Kaitlyn's shoes. I think it's actually the other way around. I believe she intentionally creates drama and makes mistakes in order for her brand to be seen and her launches to get talked about. I'm very far from an expert, but in English law, there is some protection for unregistered trademarks, which, if she'd been in England, koze may have fallen under. I don't know about the laws in other countries, she mentioned she had some protection in Canada but not enough, so maybe they have something similar but it has a higher burden of proof?

As a small business owner, I would be devastated. 😩 J isn’t capable of running a true brand anyway. Every time she launches some random shit and then you never hear about it again. No restock updates or anything. So gross. I’m going to follow the original Koze founder and support her business.

I know this isn't the point of the video but it is SUCH a pet peeve of mine when people make brand names that don't actually fit with language structure. I will never read "koze" as "cozy", an E after an o-z- is never going to make that sound, it'll sound like how Kaytlin correctly pronounced it, the same as how we say doze, like to doze off/fall asleep. The only way you could have the E make any sound would either be adding an accent, like kozé (which still doesn't sound like cosy but kozay), or if you were Japanese and read it as ko-ze (and again it still wouldn't sound like cosy but koh-zeh). If she had spelt it "kozee" it would make sense. Now if you've read all this and wondering why I care, its just because it makes it another level of terrible and shows that the people behind the decision have not a single intelligent thought rattling around in their skulls just "steal any name not trademarked yet and force it to fit".

I am hugely disconnected from trends and popular brands, but even I know KOZE!!! I am really annoyed by this! Its awful she has to do this to keep her own projects from being overshadowed

Kaitlyn handled all this situation with so much class and positivity, I would’ve probably ruined Jaclyn’s life. I wish her nothing but success for her “new brand”.

I have never heard of Kaitlyn , but now I want to go buy all her products!

I feel like the fact that she couldn’t come up with a name on her own should be a sign that she shouldn’t be going towards this business venture. It’s literally already been done. What can she bring to the table that would make anyone pay that much money for her products? It’s just her following keeping her afloat at this point, and it’s sad and cringy.

this is so sad and heartbreaking 💔 bc we all know how much time and effort Kalyn has given to the brand SHE came up with a few years ago. It's sad also bc i am one of those who was there when All things Koze was created and I've seen how it has evolved over the years. Koze that Kalyn created has a heart and a soul and you can see it, but Jacklyn's "version" of the brand doesn't have that feeling. For Jacklyn it's just another way to make money, and in six months she is going to forget her Koze, move one to another project and that's it. All this just to earn little cash.

I just saw a video that kept getting recommended to me about the creator of koze saying goodbye to it 😢 that’s sad!! Wow -had to edit this to say after watching the whole video, it makes me wonder if JH did this on purpose because she knew the girl hadn’t trademarked it yet and it was already an established brand plus any drama that results from her taking it, gives her brand even more attention!!! 😒😡 she will do anything for a buck.

Jaclyn’s gotta keep the lights on in her multi-million dollar home some how (sarcasm). Give this brand a year and she’ll dump it for another cash grab trend like she always has.

I actually had sympathy for Jacklyn after what happened with the Lipsticks because of how much work she claimed she did for the products , but after all these drama with each launched products, I think it's just her and the people she appoints to help her.
