Great resort but no chance you're getting that pow like their marketing team. Closed lifts for hours on a powder day and when opened lines up to 45 minutes.

Yeah my thoughts exactly! By the time the average person makes it to the top that place is tracked out!

Never thought I'd find better snow than JH, until I went to Sun Peaks. I especially loved the lack of crowds.

Frozen water (i.e. snow) is a miracle of nature!!! Given that we're 60-70% water, maybe we're just "going home" or "returning to the source" when we ski in the stuff. It's like swimming only much more fun!! haha!

Is Jackson like other resorts in the US where you can't get out of bounds unless ski petrol allow's you to?

Alta and Snowbird have better snow and inbounds terrain without the radittude, costs and snobbery.
