I've watched many camping, hiking and backpacking videos but this one is the most entertaining I've yet to see. Well edited, great soundtrack -- Excellent video!

I just completed the loop and spur to the falls last weekend. I felt like I bushwhacked the whole way and crawled under and over about a hundred snaggy blowdowns. Challenging for sure. But a lot of fun.

Sounds like the blowdowns have gotten worse but like you said, it's always a lot of fun!

Jacks River was mad! Now that is a lot of water moving! So many rivers you guys crossed! Talk about a workout, you all must have slept for days when you got back. Great video Ryan! Love the soundtrack!

I always enjoy watching your hikes & would love to go on one with you & your friends. However, this one would be a hell no! The last day was pretty sketchy. Great video as usual! I about shat myself when i heard Drivin & Crying. I've loved them since "Mystery Road". I finally saw Kevn Kinney play this song a couple of years ago with Pete Buck & Alejandro Escavado. One day, let me go on a trip with you all. Cheers from Ohio.

Thanks Kevin! The hikes where things don't go as planned are the trips you remember, and after seeing Jeff float away on day 3, I will be remembering this trip for years to come. One day it would be cool to meet up on a less sketchy hike. Also, I agree on the Drivin & Crying, they instantly transport me back to my high school days. Cheers from Georgia.

What would you recommend for footwear on this trail? Also shorts, or polyester pants?

I suggest hiking water shoes that can get wet because its not realistic to continually remove your dry shoes at every crossing. I have used Columbia hybrid shoes for years and they have been great. I think they are called Drainmakers. As far as pants or shorts Ive worn both on trips like this and always prefer pants.
