Eddie has a good heart deep deep down. I like that when he's under pressure he makes the right decisions. This show shows us that whatever social environment we are brainwashed/live by, what really matters is what's deep in our hearts.

Find the British comedy show Mind Your Language, it had all races in it and was based on all of them trying to learn English, very funny.

Omg I forgot about gollywogs, my grandad gave me one when I was little in the 80s and I called him Bob. I never saw it as anything racist, but looking back now, they were a bit weird.

The whole humour with this show was the men couldn't see how similar they were, they only saw their skin differences. Their wives were able to not only see their simikarities, but how equally daft their husbands were about things. The clever way it was written mesnt that bigots could watch it and not realise we were all laughing at their behaviour, because they thought the guys were right.

Hi Shadyshae .. please read it all - [ Another recommendation ] i have been watching you for about a week. that meaning ...across 2 of my accounts. & i love how open you really are. "a pinch of salt" your phrase is so british. Regarding Love thy neighbour... if you watch the show carefully.. Bill wins the fights 99.9 % of the time. because the show was pushing for equality at a changing time. Eddie's win rate in terms of debate or fights were 00.01% won.. his wins always reversed the longer the debate went on. The series had 8 series =53 episodes 1972 - 1976 They also made a film. Love thy neighbour [ The movie ] 1973. My recommendation is another class British sitcom. "Mind your Language" 4 solid series = 44 episodes 1977 - 1985 it's about an adult school for learning English. with students of.... Muslim - Indian - French - Spanish - Italian - Greek - Swedish - Russian - Ghanaian - Japanese - Chinese. A English teacher Mr Brown .. is hired to make the students fluent in English. [ Arthur ] from Love thy neighbour is the caretaker. Thanks for being you... & showing real reactions, without hate or discrimination. if you can't find the film of "Love thy neighbour" or all of the "Mind your language" episodes .. get intouch .. & i'll get them for you. Peace to you my friend.
