John "Spider" Jorgensen of Folsom, CA and Sacramento City College made his Major League debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947.. in the same game his teammate Jackie Robinson broke baseball's color barrier. Spider is a member of the Brooklyn Dodger Hall of Fame. He also coached Dusty Baker as a teenager in American Legion ball. Produced and written by Chris Lango for KCRA. Reported by Del Rodgers.
