Jack Torrance: Fully Explained - The Unrelenting & Immersive Paranormal Footage ARG

Фильм және анимация

Jack Torrance was the first Night Mind Case File and, at the time, the most mysterious and obscure webseries I ever covered. Now, it's evolved into the most unrelenting and immersive ARG to ever appear on the channel.

Hand of Glory, yeah- also (supposedly) popular with burglars for keeping the residents of a house asleep (or at least immobile) while the burglar sneaks through the house taking items. It was probably just one made of wax, as they began becoming popular at New Age shops in the 1970s, and now easily found and purchasable in many other stores- most people not knowing the rather morbid nature of the originals. I haven’t watched the video yet, just reading the comments first- good eye, though. I haven’t seen anyone else mention that so far-

Coyotes sound *incredibly* human. When I was vacationing in Northern B.C, I heard what sounded like a hyper woman laughing right outside of my cabin. Scared the crap out of me because I then heard scratching at the door and that laughter at the same time. Took me a lot of courage to look out of the window to see this scrappy, but surprisingly big coyote trying to get into my temporary home, probably because it smelled what I was cooking. I was only staying for one night anyway so I wasn't too freaked out, and the guy who rented the cabin to me had a laugh when I told him about it because the coyote's apparently a reoccurring visitor that regularly spooks people, but still shows signs of being scared of humans, so it's no big threat. Goes to show that sometimes the 'supernatural' is actually quite down to earth, or even more mundane than you thought, lol!

Scary little thing actually followed me all the way out of the alley, and for a couple of blocks before giving up, it was that insistent on making sure I wasn't going to go anywhere near where it was camping (or maybe had babies). Can't imagine how nervous I'd be if it was a coyote or, as you say, a squatter.

We had several barns and shacks at the far end of our property that hadn’t been used since my grandfather bought the land in the early 50’s. Because of this, we knew when cars and people shouldn’t be there. Also as a landowner you don’t know if strangers have good or bad intentions and so we responded with drawn weapons. I really wish people who design these kinds of ARG would stick to land they own or public land.

Someone, either the legal owners or someone, human or wild animal, who'd live there precariously could feel threatened by adventurers tresspassing and could feel justified in fending them off however they can. It really puts everyone in danger just for a poorly conceived internet game. 1.I remember being at the stream with the curse and being scared out of my mind because it was 12am and I was a child 2. I’m pretty sure after that night mind actually assured the audience watching that cursed aren’t read and that made me feel better Idk why I’m writing this but it’s fun to look back on old memories

Very intrigued by the Leviathan curse.. I’ve suffered with back problems, mystery pain, and other various illnesses for years and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few years back. Fun to see parallels from a favorite ARG to my personal life.

I noticed the hand of the person recording the video with the modern camera in the video "Nighttime Return" has nail polish (0:48) which might mean is a woman, there's a girl bleeding in a dark room in the video "VHS-C: 12.00000.00 / Token: 74", and in the video you found in the USB the voice is of a woman... what if that girl in distress and bleeding is the original owner (or one of the owners) of the jack torrance channel and was caught by the entity and that's why the channel went silent? Another thing you can notice is that the latest videos have old format but are clearly recent, what if the last video from 2016 is also recent with the entity capturing the girl who owns the JT channel and disguising the video as "old"? (proof of that might be that the last video from 2016 has a tag that says "ask forgiveness" and "repent"). One more thing, inside the the house in the video "Nighttime Return" there's a Happy Birthday balloon, and the packages you found on your field investigation all had Birthday related stuff, does that mean something? (perhaps the birth of the entity into our world?) Just sharing my thoughts

I'm thrilled to see it turn into something so deep and interesting. And thanks to Nick for taking the time and expending the effort to fully explore this enigma of a project. Now let's burn this extra-dimensional devil.
