Thank you so much for introducing me to this series! Hit all the things I've always wanted to see in this kind of story.
Right before the dog appeared in the black hole on the wall in the staircase, my son (who was supposed to be sleeping) was standing next to me trying to talk to me. I yelled so loud i scared him, hes 4. I had to expain that he scared me really bad and i wasnt yelling at him. But oh my god he almost gave me a heart attack.
love your work and loving welcome home! just wanted to mention that the link to the merchandise page is broken
Obligatory "I guess I'm sleeping with the lights on tonight" after watching that playlist and this. Jumpscares out of nowhere don't really get to me post Five Nights at Freddy's, so the build up of dread that this playlist had was exactly what gets me nowadays. I hope you understand I cursed your name multiple times while I was watching it.
What is the background music he uses 3:35
I don’t have anything to share that hasn’t been found yet, but hearing Nick SO GIDDY is infectious! I’m so happy he’s happy, and I seriously can’t wait to see how this develops :D
my older brother is autistic (not as severely as the character) and this kind of thing always reminds me to not be like the older brother when it comes to our parents passing in the future.
The narrative might be exploring themes of technological obsession and the consequences of our digital lives. The game seems to serve as a metaphor for how we sometimes get trapped in our devices, much like the characters in the game who can't escape once they start playing.
Okay, while I like the effort put into this... I dunno, the religious elements feel kinda weird? As someone who is both female and asexual, the Lust section of the Seven Deadly Sins made me *VERY* uncomfortable...
2024 rewatch anyone?
i went to read the original as soon as i opened this video and wow, gotta say, that is phenomenal horror. it made me feel sick with dread not even halfway through.
Idk if it's just me, but I just wasn't all that impressed with this series. I watched it all the way through and it never really stood out to me as particularly scary or unnerving. It has a unique premise for an analog horror, but it just didn't do anything all that exceptional with it.
as of 2024, the website redirects to Adult Swim's homepage :/
a-, anal log? 😱😰😮💨
NightMind, I know Greylock is a much more, in your face sort of series, but I believe it does an excellent job of crafting a narrative with a million different pieces, where it is still sort of a struggle to piece it all together, as well as having some truly horrific imagery to boot, I think it’s worth being covered
3:49:59 ive been in a cycle of defeatism, both as a creator and in general, for a really long time now… thank you for this. i really need to hear it. i’m putting “if you mean it, you will make it“ somewhere where i can see it often.
Do not the Rabbit
I can't wait to check this one out, I haven't read the original story so it'll be full of surprises for me and I adore a good found footage. Thanks for sharing as always. 💜 And congrats on the 10 years!!
dude has the weirdest accent ive ever heard, he say his R's and has a similar speech pattern to a south African, but he just snaps out of it for like every third word and switches to American or british
Lol I know that accent, it's mine too. It's what happens when you're South African raised English with Afrikaans as 2nd language but you watched too much TV and British youtubers as a kid. Very niche dialect of South African english
Rewatching this because it kept me up at a 6th grade sleepover back in the day memories 🫡
Old youtube was far scarier than modern youtube.
