Good people are logical and pragmatic... stands to reason that these are traits that may only come from being encouraged and supported by kind parents... not overly bearing: just fair. A balance in all things as that's how our organisms (all our micro-organisms) grow. Biology is rather simple if you perceive it from an evolutionary standpoint. Any other take on this is what causes a person to be dangerously unstable [believing that stealing something or hurting others is - somehow - beneficial]. However, he has a weapon and does a bad deed? Yep. Besides punching through a window (p sure that's not feasible even for his shape / no pin to concentrate the force applied); this is about how one would go about dealing with the situation.

I like how about 75 percent of the show is literally just Reacher ending up in situations that allows him to kick someone's ass for justified reasons Edit: And I mean that in a good way

This’ what got me into “Reacher”. The little boy reminds me of my nephew Evan. If anything happened to him, I’d inflict so much pain to the one who hurts him in anyway. I’d have to remorse or regret doing it.

The shot of him walking up and the punch…Ritchson is a natural born action star. No quick cut away to hide a weak wind up. The long shots on the fighting makes such a massive difference (I.e., Liam Neeson, Denzel)

Reacher can be a bit brusque with people, but he's not unkind. He just doesn't have a lot to say and doesn't suffer fools gladly.

Scene is shot very well, watching Reacher approach through driver's side window from inside vehicle is perfect.

Whoever coordinates these scenes deserves a serious raise.

"This won't take long." The character's plain but exceptional confidence, rooted in years of training and experience, is well rendered there.

You can see the reluctant decision to help her appear on his face as he assesses the situation. That's great facial acting.

That's about the coolest thing I have ever seen!! Proper street justice!!

I really hope that Alan gets to do the whole series of Reacher including redoing the tom cruise storybecause that was honestly one of my favourite books as a kid and Alan Ritchson IS Reacher personified. The size, power, speed and personality are all PERFECT.

What I always find funny is there’s guys in this show they look at Reacher and see he’s clearly twice their size but they go “yeah, I can take him”
