Reacher is the quintessential gentle giant - slow to anger but quick to react, and always willing to step in and defend someone in trouble. And when he has to act, he goes all in. As the old saying goes, power is nothing without control. Reacher has both, in spades.

Good people are logical and pragmatic... stands to reason that these are traits that may only come from being encouraged and supported by kind parents... not overly bearing: just fair. A balance in all things as that's how our organisms (all our micro-organisms) grow. Biology is rather simple if you perceive it from an evolutionary standpoint. Any other take on this is what causes a person to be dangerously unstable [believing that stealing something or hurting others is - somehow - beneficial]. However, he has a weapon and does a bad deed? Yep. Besides punching through a window (p sure that's not feasible even for his shape / no pin to concentrate the force applied); this is about how one would go about dealing with the situation.
