He doesn't care. The mega rich are all about making money, regardless of how. He also gave some insight into his thinking in the most recent video of him posted on RV. Paraphrasing, but while talking about the US economy and how he thinks it's due for a big reset he basically said, "Yeah, I know the economy is going to have a huge crash eventually, but for now I'm riding the wave". He probably sees China's issues but for the time being is enjoying the money he's making.

Yeah, but Jim Rogers has invested heavily into China, so he's naturally got to talk them up. Meanwhile Kyle Bass has cut his teeth on finding big bubbles like sub-prime, so he's looking for the next one in China. I guess which side people end up on is based on their past life choices. It's best to hear as many sides as possible.

Wouldn't it be the ultimate irony if Communism ends up being the fastest route from feudalism to the ideal capitalist state? But, it requires the old capitalist states imposing the reforms that cause the "dictatorship of the proletariat" to "fade away." Listening to Guo is very thought provoking! Comparing the families of the CCP to Mafia families makes the mysterious China mind comprehensible and familiar. We know how to deal with the Mafioso. We know how they think. We understand their motivations.

A westerner talking about normal things that happen in the east and looking at them from his bias. The bank loan example he gave, that happens even in india. Its almost like a referral program based on influence. That doesn't mean thats some kind of corruption but it could create a huge non-performing asset bubble in loans. Lot of wild accusation hyper charged with western bias. Not saying all he is saying is false or that the chinese economy doesnt have structural problems, but this obsession with painting china as some 'evil' empire must not be overlooked. The truth is much more complicated and stems from necessity.

You also need to understand that China has had a huge bubble going on. Any process that causes rapid and dramatic change is going to be inefficient - we know that from the laws of physics. No country has experienced such a rapid and dramatic change as China has in the past 4 decades, and that inherently means inefficiencies in the allocation of capital, and as well as price momentum, which adds up to bubble conditions. Many major investors and expert analysts have long raised alarm bells about the China bubble and the hard landing. This guy Guo Wengui may be spicing up stories a bit, but he did identify the Jack Ma thing before others. Regardless of his tales from behind the scenes, it matters that the big macro picture doesn't add up. There is something troubling going on, especially given the huge exposure the world has to China.

@@manofsan Well the whole world is a bubble driven by constant drive to find productivity. The US also has multiple bubbles (corporate, ETF, auto, student loan) linked to eternal growth , india has massive real estate bubble, china has local currency debt bubble and so on for each country. Isn't that the whole reason monetary policy is breaking and bond yealds are going negetive? I believe just like bubbles in other countries china has their fair share of them too , and they will only be fixed once something break. I guess i just dont understand the new found obsession from this Banon led batch of elites driving the US into a collision course with china. Time will tell , but maybe just like the great 'war on terror', these currency wars may also end up being something more primitive ...like a fight on 5G supremacy maybe 🤷. No point in getting charged up unless you are someone like Kyle Bass who spent quite a few years betting against yuan and losing money

I don't know why you call ETFs a bubble - they're not a sectoral bubble anyway - since their value reflects the value of the stock market as a whole. India's real estate market is merely suffering a drop due to less availability of black money. Bannon is not a warmonger, he's simply opposing the encroachment of another country upon his own. 5G conflict is due to security concerns.

Likely if you look in to the quality of those buildings they were just made to create jobs as those buildings are heavily subsidized. Not really made so people can live in. There are videos out there of how they are badly maintained and just slowly deterating, so by the time say a decade from now if China's economy continues to expand and you have people potentially moving withing those areas those places wouldn't be in condition to live in.

If they just wanted to create jobs you'd think they would build something useable that will last forever, like monuments or pyramids or something... instead they built cities for millions of people... fast cheap high rise condos, shopping malls, schools and fire departments and then didnt even subsidize them so their citizens could afford them. It just seems odd...
