Same, I was driving to Kensington to pick up sick as a dog and came across this. I’m not an emotional person at all but just how low I was feeling and everything falling apart I pulled over hysterical. I've been drunk in the local cemetery way too many times. I really have done exactly what this song is about. Its insane. Wake up get drunk and go back to sleep while losing my mind. I was at 7 months sober when I relapsed in the beginning of July. Heres to still being alive and being able to listen to your music. It's pretty tuff now I just suffer from this crippling like anxiety barely able to leave the house or be any kind of social.

Hey dude, just wanted to say I'm in a similar boat.. I had a year and a half sober until COVID hit and its been a struggle trying to crawl back out of this hole. Sucks because I started drinking and doing other stuff to help with crippling anxiety, especially social anxiety, but drinking has made it so much worse than it was before I started. it's no fun having to plan my days around drinking or rationing vodka to make sure I have enough to drink when I wake up so I don't get all shaky and shit. 7 months is a long time and it's awesome you managed sobriety for that long. Please try to remember that relapsing doesn't delete all your progress. You still went 7 months without it. You could've been slamming beers and shots for that whole 7 months, so that's something to be proud of for sure. I hope you manage to get back to where you want to be, dude. It takes baby steps for sure, and I know how hard stopping drinking once you get going again can be. Hey Guys. I still listen to this song a lot and came across my comment. Was really heart warming to read I'm not alone. I am almost one year sober now. I was in a really dark place when I wrote that comment. Working again and living a fairly normal life. Sometimes I almost cry I'm so happy I made it out alive cause let me tell you I was staring death right in the face. I bought a new motorcycle and have 3 awesome cats that need me. Try and play some diablo 4 when I can. I'm getting to the point now where whats next. I hope yall are doing good and thank you so much for taking the time to reach out. I wish I would of read those comments sooner. Much love
