He’s an awesome interview. Refreshing to see. The way his eyes light up every time Luke is mentioned just shows how good of a big bro he is. No doubt Quinn is the same when talking about his younger bros. Extra points for calling micaleff ‘Sid’.

Love it! There is so much talent and character on this team. I have been there since that first year they came over from Colorado. Low times, high times, low times again, and now I believe the high times are about to happen in a big way. Nico as captain. Jack as the budding superstar. Ty Smith on the blue line. Blackwood in net. I've been waiting a long time for this. In a cruel and oft-times depressing world situation, something as simple as a local hockey team has helped me to cope with that crazy world. I cannot wait for October 15. Great video. Thank you!

ouch, what a roast from Jack. I'm sorry Jack, but I am proud of your brother on our team. The fact that everyone is roasting Quinn after an IV treatment after covid. I would not be able to imagine what your brother went through, you should at least feel some sympathy for your older brother has gone through. But your older brother is one of the best performed player along with Boeser and Petey.

The line is, "I'm a man! I'm 40!" Also, that reference went right over Jack's head.

Gives Hughes 8 mil per and Pettersson 9 and be done with it. If they want shorter term that’s fine too, as long as it doesn’t bring them to being a UFA.

We have four players that we can save 750k each via AHL reassignment: Dowling, Di Giuseppe, Bailey and Hunt. That will save us another 3 mil, then you have the 3.5 LTIR we can go over with Ferland. 10.6 + 3 + 3.5 = 17.1 mil give or take. If we choose to send Rathbone down that’s another 750k, getting us up to 17.9- that has to be enough to sign them. They are just stalling due to term, they likely want 4-5 year deals each which would bring them to UFA. Canucks want either shorter term so there is RFA negotiation rights or longer term so they maximize player potential peak years. Signing the next contact at 29-30 vs 27-28 is more advantageous.

@@aurorasstorm5877 uhhh maybe give it a couple more years but you're looking at a really small sample size. Use common sense all three have sky high potential that any team would kill to have. Mackinnon was underwhelming until his 5th year. Stamkos was off to a slow start and so was Thornton.

@@mr.devil9577 Stamkos had 46 pts, 95pts, 91pts, and 97 pts just in his first 4 years so if you call that a slow start, I'd like to know what you consider a good season? McKinnon had 63 pts his 1st season , 38 pts, 52pts, and 53pts in his next 3 again all better than jack here. I also didn't say he wasn't a good player, I said he is over rated, way to mich hype for someone who hasn't proven he's a number 1 draft pick.

Depends imo. You could also argue that no forward should get less points then a defenceman since that’s their job. It is what it is. In this day and age of hockey, a decent offensive dman will make more then the best 2 way defender in the league. It’s points over everything, probably why no kids want to be defensive defenceman anymore. Even good defensive forwards still need to put up minimum 30-40 points to get paid at all
