Who doesn't love the gear spotlights? Thanks for great reviews of gear. Most of us will never have the money to own every single piece you review and thus it helps is narrow down the search before putting our scant pence down on less than desirable kit.

My EDC is a Winkler Aggressor. And a Belt Knife by Winkler as well. But I really like the Minuteman! It’s gonna take me a couple months to save for one!

I own a stupid amount of awesome knives. The Winkler Belt Knife is probably my favorite of all of them.

Do you have any interest in OTFs? I remember all the "Beards and Board Shorts" guys wanted the Benchmade Infidel when I was down range in 2010. I carry a Guardian Tactical Recon 035 these days as my primary knife (I like being able to very quickly secure it when my 2 year comes running at me).

I have the same thoughts on knives. My fighting knife varies but typically a 5.5" Cold Steel Talwar or Espada and a Spyderco Police 4. But my box knife is either the OTF lightning or Microtech Troodon. I'm all over the place as far as value and function. I do sharpen all my own knives to a scary mirror polish using EdgePro Apex. My favorite knife has to be the Talwar. It is a perfect large folding fighting knife. Even polished the blade to almost mirror finish, mf looks scary as hell.

Your knives are cheap garbage. Also a fighting folder knife lmao that’s so dumb. Fixed blades are for fighting.

Excellent philosophy of use. I also carry a combat blade (Benchmade SOCP) and a folder (I have several in my rotation). I also carry a multitool. Jack, how or when do carry or use your Winklers? I'm saving up for one and would love to hear how you use them.

A lot of these knife designers have connections to sayoc kali. Do you train sayoc?

That thing is really nice. I daily carry Kershaw/Emerson folder stuff for work, and when were out of the house in social settings i like my Cold Steel Black Talon 2. I'm still convinced the first victim of the Black Talon will be me..lol

Roger that. Like me and my CS Frenzy. Been my daily folder with a WKL Survival Striker for over a year. Start flipping around a Doublestar Halcón, which admittedly has been my guilty pleasure for stress relief lately, and get cute. You’ll be bleeding in no time. Lol

Shivworks dude! Can’t go wrong they’re like 100-130$ with mor expensive versions available but you can get all of their models for fairly cheap also milmak blades sells blades for like 230 they’re pretty nice and they sell trainers as well.

I hope those that carry a self defense knife are well versed and trained on how to use it . In many cases people are disarmed and the knife is then used on them! That is a cool looking knife though.

Do you realize how difficult it is to wrestle a 4" long razor from someone without being seriously injured right? Knife disarming is a illusion.

CRKT Du Hoc Krambit..., Cold Steel San Mai Tai Pan, Cold Steel Tokyo Spike, CRKT M16-... and so on... most will get the point. 🤣

Nice knifes I normally carry a balisong, a box cutter, cold steel folder, and a pioneer woman knife for fighting as my daily carry with my handgun.
