Amen! James was my friend for 24 years.
Killer video, love these things! Badass RE: the zippers…I was an Army medical officer assigned to infantry units always standardized our M9 bags and personal kit this way so we could grab anyones kit (in theory) and this would save so much scrambling/fumbling in no-light/low-light situations. Thanks for your insights.
I could listen to people talk about knives all day long. I also love hearing what different people choose as their EDC. Helps me narrow down and customize my own EDC.
Jack...always stellar stuff. I love that zipper tip you got from a Delta guy. Might you have enough insights like that that you've gleaned from other vets that would make for a video of its own? I love those kinda hacks. Godspeed!
What really impressed me was when you mentioned the EPI pen. It made me realize that you are not only a warrior but a protector of life. I love that, dude!
loved the terminal list ive watched it through twice now.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing, love your work!
Just got a Black Point Tactical for my M & P Shield Plus and LOVE IT! What a comfortable piece of kit. I've been a CCW carrier since 2001 so you can imagine the multitude of holsters I've been through (40 or so at least) and this is by far the best I've come across. Tier 1 Concealed Echo is a very close second and also an amazing holster (I carry strong side 4 o'clock)...
I love that he didn't even flash the barrel to the camera. Also makes you feel more like you're there.
Love the Elwood Risk Medusa art in the background
Thanks for the update! Love the gear content
Son of a librarian. He stores his sidearms using the dewey decimal system. Love you Jack 😂
Thanks for the EDC dump. Good stuff!
you have no idea how much i love edc videos esp yours thanks for the post and update on your gear jack take it easy hope you and the fam are well

He’s literally showing nothing but sponsor gear.
Being a long time Glock only when it comes to carrying I absolutely love my XMacro it’s truly the perfect everyday carry pistol for me .
Thanks for sharing Jack! Love the books bro
The Stream light stylus is a lovely torch I clip it on my inside Trousers snickers pocket, Don't even know its there its so thin. Only draw back is the battery life if you use it heavily, which is due to the exceptionally bright light. Again great piece of kit!
Solid update. Tx. Been trying to decide on the ES everyday bandit or Sitka for a work/travel backpack. Also any Flannel shirts or pants favorites ?
Love it ! Be prepared for all occasions !
Let's see that Fort Knox inside... Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Thank you for your knowledge and Amazing stories Mr. Carr! "Win the Fight!"
Your books are great Mr. Carr, and you are a very good promoter. Best of luck to you and your family. SW Shield Plus, Amberhide holster, Benchmade Griptillian and a Quantuam light for this civilian.
Sub'd and am now reading Terminal List. For older eyes: I took a silver sharpie to the back of my kydex mags-G43,G19 etc.. After retiring, I stayed with what I was issued. Merry Christmas to all! SF
Got into your book series lately great stuff that last one 🎉🎉🎉
Love the classic compound!
Funny thing about zippers sir. I was a young Paratrooper/medic at Bragg in 90s. My batt. PA one day, gave same advice about zippers on our M5 aidbags. He was a former 18D turned Delta turned officer/PA. Great guy, I considered him a mentor. Fast forward my 26 year paramedic career, I routinely advise young EMTs/medics the zipper thing.
My EDC is a customized Ontario SP1 carried scout carry style in a custom Kydex sheath, a Spyderco YoJumbo with a 5X5 Combat Solution wave opener attached, a small POM pepper spray with clip, and a S&W 340 M&P (with no internal lock) in a leather pocket holster. The pepper spray is the only thing I've ever had to use in a self defense situation so far. All of that gear is lightweight, compact, and concealable.
Very cool/practical gear man! Great stuff..
The terminal list was so damn good
Excellent and concise video, I'd add some Narcan to your backpack too, you never know! Well done!!! Thank you Jack!

Love his videos
Thanks for the video!
Awesome EDC video
Thanks for sharing Jack. Very similar here, Glock 19 instead of Sig, nothing against Sig, I’ve was trained by James Yeager for over twenty years. A backup .380 in my left front pocket and always a spare 17 round mag. We live in the Memphis, AKA The Mogadishu of the West, area. Looking forward to your next book that you mentioned. Congrats on your success!

No wrong choice with Glock vs Sig, I have both. My only issue with Sig is that the mags are over double the price of any of my other handguns and they're also incredibly stiff for a while. I had to use a loader for a while on those mags before I could do more than 2 or 3 by hand.
Cool video , thx for your service , I myself am ex -navy , AW , stationed at NAS Coronado for a bit , HS-3 in the late 80’s , used to watch you guys hump it out on the beach with full gear ,. I miss the west coast 1:26 , been in new england now for years , just wanted to say , I enjoy your content , just watched an interview you did involving our readiness for a coming war w russia and china , and you seemed to be convinced we have major issues , sad to say , I agree . Hopefully we can get it together before it’s too late , thanks jack , stay safe !
Thank you Mr. Carr. Just read your second book. Pretty cool you know about Zimbabwe, I have family in that country.
Love the gear. I always carry a spare mag. I’ve had too many “dumb” things happen to where I was separated from the primary. It works for me. 👍

Plus, the main reason is that the mag is the most likely component to fail. thanks for your post, good reading your comment!
love the edc videos, what about clothing/shoes?
Should definitely check out the medical pouch made by centerline systems through black scout survival. Well made kit designed for access in the fight
You're a class act sir. Solid carry. I'll definitely be following your lead. Thank you. I'm listening to all of those awesome books again. Excited for the next installment and the next season of the show!
I love the Sig Sauer P320 series of guns. I've got the full size 320, and the 320 X5 legion. The Legion is scary accurate. Great video. Navy Corpsman by the way.
Awesome old bow on the wall and kwikee quiver
Need a second season of Terminal List like yesterday, please.
Cool Video and great stuff. And Clint Smith is The Man.
Thank you for sharing Mr. Jack !! I myself bought a BP Tactical Mini Wing for my 365 based off your recommendation, I am completely satisfied!! I did trim a little bit of plastic off and I did have an old leather belt hanging around and used it to widen my hooks out. The BP Holster is very secure even in lose fitting board shorts 🩳 . From flip flops to work wear my Mini Wing & 365 goes with me everywhere. 🇺🇸
Wow I always keep zippers on my backpack in the same spot since I was a kid. Which means that I had already mindset of Delta operator at that age. I knew it.. I am such a badass alpha heavy hitter type of a guy that is insane.. 😎🤙💪
I specifically picked up a p365xl because of the James Reece recommendation. Love it. Much better than Springfield or S&W.
I like your sig, I carry the Sig P938 SAS but its only 7 rounds. I keep a medkit on my bike and I added tourniquets to it, but I have no training on using it. Thats good solid common sense advice to get training. I never have time so I have never slowed down long enough to find a class. That makes it almost pointless to carry the medkit.
If Jack Carr's EDC was a car in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, there would be a giant Sig logo over the windshield...
Them new headbands for $10 or so on Amazon rock ! Rubber but the batteries are the quarter sized ones so . But it’s bright af with three modes .
You forgot the kitchen sink!😂. lol. Great info, let’s me know what I’m lacking in my edc/bugout
Really loved getting blinded but his flashlights
I’d love to know more about that knife in the display case behind you.
I don't know if Jack replies to KZread comments but it'd be cool to see EDC in so called " non permissive environments' would love to know what if anything changes
@kevos823

Definitely not a professional here, but I would imagine it depends on the restrictions for each environment. I know one of the newer things are titanium or G10 for a blade.

@@robertm9848 friend, that’s not accurate at ALL. Carrying certain things in certain states is either illegal or legal, depending on the state. This is what will put you behind bars, or not! Please research this before you get yourself in a pinch
@mdselmer4249

@@superkool7 I agree. All it takes is one person to see a print of a gun while you’re carrying in a highly restricted area and your spending years behind bars. It’s dumb but how willing are you to risk it when the chance of getting in an altercation is near 0%
@davidb9323

Maybe even a realistic edc for the every day person instead of say a fixed blade knife that’s $515.
Utah my favorite place! I’m right up the road.
really like the Fort Knox, they don't mess around
Awesome video !!! Great job : ) subscribed ! P.S I would like to thank you for your service for all you have done for our country. may GOD bless !
Jack is that a Romeo on your Sig? Absolutely love all your videos.
Jack what’s that bow on the wall? I’m digging it
Jack Carr has such good, but expensive taste!!🤣 Love the videos and your books!
Great stuff. Side note: don’t stash your zippers like that if you ride Motercycles 😬 unless you want the contents of your bag strung across the road in random spots along your hour ride on the highway 😅
I actually found a paperback European copy of "Only the Dead" for sale in my local goodwill. Bought it for my collection.
You’re the man Jack. Help me feel sane when people tell me I’m crazy for being so particular about my gear and always changing it around lol
When you think about it, Jack could live 300 years and the chance he would need most of this stuff is about 1.5%

FYI you totally can bring trauma shears on an airplane. I've done it a bunch of times, even had TSA pull them out and directly examine them several times in different airports and they never had an issue with it.
Mr. Carr, I've got a question for you if you get a chance to respond. What are your thoughts on the 5.7 cartridge, and the pistols coming out recently that are chambered in it? I prefer Smith and wesson for concealed carry and was floored when I saw they brought out a 5.7 pistol. With gas impingement no less.
thank you
Is there ganna be a second season for the terminal list ??????
Had no idea jack had a channel! Automatic follow!
Hi, can you make a review on the Half Face Blades Crow? The folder from HFB on this video. Thanks!
Which company do you recommend for an extra mag holder? I currently carry xds 9mm so that's not many rounds. Thanks for your feedback.

Checkout neo mag.
Holy smokes it must be nice to have friends who give you awesome & expensive knives! I can barely justify a top tier $350 fixed blade & folding knives I’m not paying over $200 either & I like nice things. Most of my blades are all around $100 for hard usage & I use them frequently too. I like that you carry 2 knives though.

I usually tell people to be prepared to buy two pistols - one compact for everyday carry (edc) and the other being a full size combat/duty weapon for home defense and range shooting. My preferences are the Sig P365 and the Sig P226 Elite w/ a Surefire X300u-B light, both in 9mm. Train and shoot extensively with both.
I’m assuming you replaced the stock slide to have it ported as the stock slide comes with a built in compensator?
Jack, do you think you could do a EDC video of Summer EDC? Such as when you are wearing a tee shirt and a pair of shorts with only two pockets? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much...
Do you prefer the p365 X Macro over the XL for any specific reasons? Or it just personal preference between the two for you?
Black Rifle drink… no. I’m old enough to be the father of most of these tactical guys, so it’s interesting to see their daily carry necessities. And odd choices, like a handcuff key. What kind of life are you living? EDC is a pistol. You know why. A knife, for daily utility, wallet, keys, cell phone, and of course, clothes. Appropriate for season and destination. When going out at night, a light- my daughter uses her cell phone, gah! The rifle and quick clot are in the vehicle with targets hearing protectors, etc. looks like Jack and I have the same pistol safe, except mine is bolted next to the bed, and needs a new set of batteries. My other safes are console vaults in the vehicles. Nice video, good books, great imagination. Thanks, Jack!

People tend to forget about pepper spray in their EDC kit. Guns are great (and should be carried as well) but pepper spray can handle 99% of self defense encounters the average person will face.
Any problems with sig rusting?? I was thinking of buying one but so many people are saying how quickly these things r rusting.
When the cop says Sir do you have any weapons on you ?😂
Amazing
Nice EDC.
Still rocking the combat flathead at any point Jack?
Jack is your fixed blade knife holster built in with your pistol holster or is it separate??
@thejackrabbithole-5311

Mine is separate, FWIW, Mr. Punisher. Love the Frank Castle name! Hibben Legacy is my fixed blade. Kershaw 8100 is my box opener.
Note to Self: Never meet Jack Carr on a rainy night in a dark alley.
I really love the shirt. What brand is it?
Were you on the Red Team In the Seals? They carried tomahawks??
My knife, all of them are double duty, envelope opener and can opener… they open Ameri-can, Mexi-can, etc, multi purpose 😃
Thanks for the EDC update. Love these types of videos to see what people are carrying around. That AMTAC knife is awesome. Love mine. Never leave home without mine. The training classes he has is good as well.
This guy should be on the shopping channel
Axg over XCarry legion or Axg combat?
Just curious, what kind of motorcycle do you ride?
Is that a battleaxe on the side of the gunsafe?
Where u did u get that brown mat from ?
I understand with the two knife’s sir.But I am a Glock guy I carry my Glock 45 I always carry a reload mag for my handgun
How do I get a signed copy of that Chris Pratt Edition of the book? Would be amazing for the collection!
Cool video
It’s nice to see someone else believes in the 365 V Crown ammo. I really want to believe in it and carry it. But there’s so many mixed reviews out there in cyber land. Who knows what to believe? And by the way, with all the stuff you’re able to comfortably carry, BATMAN is absolutely jealous!
What leather mat is that? I can read “Savage” but I can’t find it online.
Glad to see the pen and paper, surprised we didn't see a defibrillator. Footwear, what's your rotation of footwear? Great video, keeping a book on hand to give away is a great idea. I also like to keep a few small coffee gift cards on hand and give them out to those I meet as a thank you for whatever I find they need appreciation for.
