I like how Jack Black is obviously willing to hunker down and grind, hence his success, but is also a man of the people and a great dude, as evidenced by the encounter with the guy who not only got to "make his son a rug" but also meet the man himself

The man is a genuine national treasure... keep him safe USA, you must protect him at all costs!!

He seems so approachable. Like these kids come up to him and talk to him as if he wasn’t a huge celebrity, but rather a friend they haven’t seen in years. Amazing soul.

I have to revise my opinion on this...I thought Jack was being funny with this at first, until I figured out that he was actually mocking skateboard legend Tony Hawk's videos of him actually going out and encouraging kids to do skateboard tricks and rewarding them with merch/prizes.
