Rohail Hyatt's decision to reactivate the channel was one of the few good things happened to the world after pandemic began ( along with his decision to come back to arranging Coke Studio). Lots of love and gratitude from Kerala.

Rohail Hyatt is not just a musician, he is a divine gift, healer of souls and inviter to Allah. Same goes to Farid Ayaz Qawal. both are true Murshids.

We were forced yes forced to sing this song during morning assembly in our school in New Delhi. I used to hate hate it. Fast forward 40 years and I heard this and it gave me goose bumps. I saw a version on the dream journey and it brought tears to my eyes. Amazing rendition. Love love it. See how we change?

I was born in 2008 and i think I was born in wrong era missed so much things like this masterpiece and many great songs of Atif Aslam like jalpari chana dholna and this is a masterpiece thankfully there is a youtube and have no words for rohail Bhai he is absolutely amazing ❤

Infact i was entering in my young age and we had the opportunity of such masterpieces to listen on casette tape and then DVDs era and Mp3 players.

Of course, the performance itself is nothing short of brilliant, but my god, the fidelity of this recording! Rarely do we hear such pristine sound quality & production on qawwali recordings. The only other example I can think of is Nusrat Sahab's Live at WOMAD recordings. Refreshing, to say the least. P.S. As another commenter said, would love to hear a production of "Sanwal Morr Muharran" by you.

Music is a separate universe. In that universe, Rohail Hayat is the sun, rest revolve around him. He is blessed Mashallah. And we’re privileged to have him in our times. Tbh, what we can fail to imagine, he gives us that kind of soul satisfying music. Mashallah.

This is a gem 💜 discovered yesterday and since then listining to over and over whole the Day with some pauses To listen to Kangana 🤣 greeting from an Algerian who loves qawwali 💜
