J20 FX9630 Flying Like it Should

I show the screws/weight I put in the nose to help balance this plane out, she is still very tail heavy esp with landing gear on. Flight time is 6 minutes and then she falls gracefully out of the sky. Def a fun Edf rc jet

Awesome video. Do you fly 1s or 2s? Ordered mine and want to make sure 2s is ok in it. Thanks 😊

I fly mostly on 1s, I'll use a 750-900 mah 50c. I've only tried 2s once and on full throttle it cut the esc off. I don't think these are brushless motors either

Fly it ONLY with the type of battery supplied with it! You CANNOT use a 2-cell battery in an RC toy designed for a 1-cell battery (you'll blow up the flight board!) or vice versa. (The Low Voltage Cut-off circuitry will not allow the plane to fly on the low voltage.) The units of this plane now being offered for sale appear to all be 2-cell brushed motor versions. It seems that some folks have older units that were sold with 1-cell boards and motors? If so DON'T mix them up! 🙄😉

@theoztreecrasher2647 yeah, I figured that out a while ago. I went with a 1s jst 850 mah 30c battery i got off Amazon, this produces the best results for flight time and performance. I have another j20 i got to customize, Gonna share vids of the build and flight once complete 💪🏽

    why you need add weight?

If you don't it will tend to be tail heavy and because it's a delta wing you'll stall hard while trying to turn sharply. The weight helps keep the nose down and give it more speed.

Hey man how much weight did you add? And how did you add it? Mine just wants to keep climbing, I have to do full down to just keep it level and I need to pull up hard in turns otherwise it’ll sorta try flat spin and fall

@lewiswhitfield4362 I added 2 screws behind the nose cone, and it still tends to climb but I like to fly in mid rates (mode b on the rtf) and once she gets a good altitude I dial down the throttle to about 60% the screws helped to balance her out. Also I run a slightly heavier battery now. This plane looks amazing but the cg is terrible out of the box.

@KayDaJinashi if there's an open port on the esc/servo board, you can plug some in, or get a led kit and run them off a separate 1s battery. The tricky part is fitting both batteries in the tray. I'd also look on Aliexpress or Amazon might have cheap kits as well
